Great for programming beats as well as a general MIDI controller for whatever instrument you want

I remember somebody saying the original nanokontrol had one...wonder why they ditched it?Anyway, can't decide between this and Akai Professional MIDImix | High-Performance Portable USB Mixer/DAW Controller (24 knobs / 16 buttons / 8 line faders) which looks a little nicer, bigger (not necessarily an asset for me)

It is the cheapest controller I've seen so far, and I believe it's worth the buck you pay.

a little bit expensive but native machine is the best and the top for drums midi controller and the AKAI MPD very good too and only $40 more than this defective controller

However if you want an xy pad and don't have any velocity sensitive pads either, this is a good controller

Plastic ain't a bad thing.-This controller could more or less likely be dropped repeatedly and it might only crack the case

I bought this nanoKontrol to use it with Ableton Live 9, I use different tracks, midis and audio, so I needed something to help me control the DAW, this is an amazing controller, everything is very helpful, and it works as a native controller with Live 9, but you can also assign every function as you want

Great little keyboard controller, works great with garage band or pro tools.

The best controller you have is the one that you actually have with you when you need it, and Korg has made a device here that is actually practical enough to carry with you just about anywhere.

This is a very well made controller and a great adjunct to other devices, like the Korg nanokey2, which don't have any controls other than the basics

and i would totally buy another one, that is how great this daw controller is

Don’t waste your money on defective controller not working, no power at all and very old model from 2011, there are lot of brand like akai mpd and akai mpc much better and 2016 2017 and there is NATIVE

But all in all, It is a respectable little controller

So, to summarize, if you can't afford a more serious mix controller but you're sick and tired of using a mouse for everything, this is an acceptable option that will ease a lot of that burden

Before buying the Korg Nano Kontrol2, I was looking at much more expensive controllers ($200-$500).

But this controller is really handy and affordable

Other then that, its a nice controller to have around.
