The cable of my old PortaPro failed after only six years of daily use :-)
-
Also the cables are weak and broke for me
-
UpdateIn 5 months of usage, their cable from the 3.5mm jack has broken on the inside
-
I feel the cable could be delicate, but I haven't had any issues with it yet
-
However, the cable failed where it connects to the 3.5mm plug
-
For example, the cable nearest the jack can easily be broken off if you accidentally pull on it too hard (which may be common considering it's a portable device)
-
My only complain is the rather short cable.
-
Koss has a great headphone at the price, but putting better cables is needed.
-
They have a lower price point and sound almost as good as the 60s but are much more compact and portable without the huge unwieldy Grado cable in the way.
-
I'm just really disappointed in these, primarily with that stupid cable that they chose.
-
The cable is not durable, but you can't beat lifetime replacement warranty
-
With the Porta-Pros, because of the metal headband the cable split is outside of the earcup, so you've got the "Y" and a very rigid, kinked cable that always ends up twisted around inside the pouch when you pull them back out
-
The only thing I think the Portapro's could improve on are comfort and perhaps a removable/replaceable cable(s
-
Great service for replacing bad cables after continues 5 years of being used
-
I have owned 4 of these headphones & every one has developed problems with poor cables
-
the cable is built in like the ones in cyber cafes
-
A thicker cable would be more durable and wouldn't twist as much.
-
My only complaint is that the cable feels fragile.
-
excellent as before

As my music taste is eclectic, I listen to everything from Metallica, Classical, R&B, Rap to Oldies and these headphones don't disappoint
