I mainly use it for the gym now, since earbuds feel odd for me while running.

Like me she can't stand earbuds and wanted an easy to carry, comfortable, alternative.

So, affordable, durable, fits a wide variety of noggins, more comfortable than earbuds, sound better than most earbuds, and easy to drive

It's a shame because I loved how comfortable they wore and I hate earbuds

I have a pair of cheap Panasonic earbuds that have been going for YEARS with no problems, even though I frequently crumple them up, stuff them in my pockets, and toss them around haphazardly.

The sound detail is surprisingly good, and if you're used to cheap earbuds you'll be happily stunned at the difference in overall sound quality.

As a matter of fact, I own several other pairs of headphones, from the cheap Apple earbuds to fancy/expensive headphones yet, I keep finding myself come back to these headphones again and again and again…

They may sound better than the cheap earbuds that come with your audio gadget but they may also bring out details you didn't really want to hear

As my music taste is eclectic, I listen to everything from Metallica, Classical, R&B, Rap to Oldies and these headphones don't disappoint

The only thing I think the Portapro's could improve on are comfort and perhaps a removable/replaceable cable(s
