I really don't believe you can get a better headset for under $30

I had been using flimsy Logitech headsets for years and had gotten used to duct taping them together when the cheap plastic broke and putting up with the discomfort that came from wearing them for extended periods of time.

So I pay $12 to ship it out and wait 20 days to get the SAME BROKEN HEADSET BACK

I can rotate each earpiece clockwise one quarter turn and the cushions on the earpieces meet to make the headset less than half its original size and very easy to stow in the computer bag or even on the corner of the desk when it is not in use

I found the headset to be much louder than my speakers.

If you have a little more money, go spend it on something else, this headset is only good for a short time of usage.

For $35 I expected a more sturdy build, considering before this I had a really cheap headset that lasted more than 2 years

Aside from being a little tight this headset works great right out of the box.

When my Logitech headset crapped out on me, I decided to go find a better headset.

This headset is only marginally more comfortable on the head and ears than my Corsair 1500 headset, but the Corsair has better sound, an inline volume and mic mute control, and the mic doesn't impede my field of vision.

If you need a cheap headset fast I recommend otherwise don't waste your money.

The connection to the computer is the old-style twin 3.5mm headset and microphone plugs, which I prefer to USB headsets because they work off the existing sound hardware in the computer rather than introducing a new sound device.

It's not as sharp as I'd like

The detentes that keep the headphones open or folded are not as positive as they could be, and the phones will shift out of alignment easily

They don't set on your head too comfortably, but as for the functionality aspect of the headset, perfect!
