    • I love the sound quality and the microphone is working great
    • A pyle $10 microphone works better than this headset
    • I can hear really well, and the microphone must be great because other people say they hear me much much better when I use this headset.
    • The microphone sounded good when it wasn't giving off noise and scratching sound.
    • After light use (about once a week), the microphone stopped working in less than three months.
    • They weren't moved to multiple locations often enough to consider physical damage as part of the reason the microphone stopped working
    • Attempted using this headset with a few radios of mine that require the use of a dynamic microphone
    • USB interface makes for consistent digital microphone performance compared to analog
    • The microphone seems a bit far from my mouth (not adjustable horizontally) but it does pick up ok.
    • The microphone works fine
    • This headphones have good quality sound but the microphone is not as good as expected
    • Excellent headphones, clear audio, great microphone sensitivity.
    • This isn't too problematic as the microphone is very sensitive.
    • The sound was good until then and the microphone was good but, the quality of these would cause me to avoid ever purchasing another pair.
    • After 3 months, the microphone stopped working on one
    • In fact, when I had to do a comparison between the Koss headset and a much more expensive microphone, the Koss headset was much, much better
    • I wanted a comfortable headset that produced great audio without disturbing my partner with a good microphone, that didn't hurt my ear after a couple hours of use, and this product did just that
    • Sound is great, microphone is great
    • From what I was able to perceive, the microphone seemed to work well
    • The microphone only works in one of two microphone ports I use (and I've tested other mics in there which work fine), while the speaker connector will intermittently drop the right speaker mix
    • The microphone sounds fantastic, that is the one bonus to this.
    • The headphones sound great, it's comfortable enough to wear all day, and the microphone picks up extremely well.
    • The microphone used on the SB-45 does not perform as well as the microphone used on the SB-40
    • The sound was clear, the microphone worked well and the padded muffs blocked out sound so much that I had to pull them off him to get his attention!
    • Both microphones stopped working
    • The microphone was too sensitive apparently for no reason, that others would often hear my breathing sound or the sound from the AC duct above my head
    • I love Koss, these fit perfectly over my ears, the microphone sounds good, and they're very comfortable
    • This poor microphone performance does not allow for clear voice transmission or recording when using the SB-45 with the equipment we're currently using.
    • these things squeeze your head like you are in a vise its painful on your ears and head and the microphone isn't adjustable, it just falls down, loud degree of echoing on the microphoneall in all its not a good buy i could have just got a cheap $10 desktop mic and $5
    • The microphone sounds great without having to have it nearly touching your lips, and there's no pops or wind noise while talking/breathing, that I've noticed anyway.
    • The microphone is very good also....
    • I used this microphone somewhat regularly for recording online training videos until it died recently
    • The sound quality is fine for what I'm doing and the microphone is sensitive but seems to avoid picking up a lot of ambient noise.
    • they are pros: good sound quality, easy to set up, good microphone reception with a problemcons
    • The microphone crapped out after 4 months of light use
    • The SB-45 has the same sound quality as the Porta Pro and a great microphone for gaming and voice recognition software.
    • The noise canceling microphone removes almost all of the background noise, no breathing, no fan, no mouse, no crickets
    • * The microphone feels flimsy, and sometimes it's hard to tell if it's positioned correctly
    • After only a few months of this usage the microphone stopped working
    • The microphone is the hero here
    • The microphone works
    • I'd recommend these to anyone that want an affordable pair of headphone with a relatively good microphone for a decent price.
    • The microphone always worked well -- clear and strong, but not exactly professional quality.
    • After only about 6 months of use, the microphone died
    • The microphone is just as good as it should be for on-line chats and gaming.
    • The microphone is good enough for what I'm using it for, but I wouldn't recommend these for anything other than skype / chatting
    • The SB 45 has a noise canceling microphone so a lot of those sounds never made it to the video voiceovers
    • Microphone stopped working after a few days - of course I'd tossed all the packaging so no way to return it.
    • The microphone is pretty nice, and very sensitive
    • Now after 4 months the microphone has died (I almost never used it but the microphone connection wire to the unit is frayed) and the sound periodically goes out as the headphone connection is also going bad.
    • The microphone sounds good; there's very little background noise and the recorded sound is very clear, but the boom the microphone is mounted on is a little flimsy.
    • The microphone stopped working after 10 months.
    • I bought this after reading good reviews, but unfortunately the microphone stopped working within one and half months
    • The microphone doesn't pick up the background noise
    • The microphone on these do not work.
    • And then the microphone died after about a year of use.
    • The microphone is good enough for what I'm using it for, but I wouldn't recommend these for anything other than skype / chatting
    • I wish someone made noise cancelling headphones with decent microphone.
