KRUPS Grind and Brew Auto-Start Maker with Builtin Burr Coffee Grinder, 10-Cups, Black

    • The machine itself is nice and easy-to-use and makes a pleasant batch of coffee, but it is nowhere near as robust as older models
    • This machine has pros and cons, but wow, do the negatives far outweigh any of the positives
    • this is a solid machine
    • and this machine is a problem.
    • This machine has a serious design flaw — some of the grinds don’t make it all the way into the basket for brewing.
    • I thought it was a decent machine I have only had it for about 10 months and the grinder no longer
    • have no idea how to clean this machine
    • Now the entire machine doesn't work
    • this machine makes Wonderful
    • Great coffee machine, easy to load and clean
    • I love this coffee pot machine and I have NO complaints!
    • It is so nice not to have to break the machine apart to clean every day
    • The Krups Grind and Brew coffeemaker with a burr grinder is excellent, and the only machine with a built in grinder that grinds the beans fine enough and makes coffee strong enough for my taste.
    • The machine is very easy to use and cleaning it has not been a problem so far.
    • Purchased in Dec 2018 and though I’m on my 3rd carafe (due to dropping on floor) the machine has been great
    • And of course the grinding step can be skipped, and this machine can make coffee using pre-ground beans
    • We had this machine before and it worked perfectly making great coffee.
    • , the basket BTW is a little flimsy on the lock mechanism so be gentle with it, the machine overall has been working really well and has been dependable which includes the timer.
    • The whole idea that this machine would allow me to use whole beans, and have freshly ground hot coffee at a set time when I wake up was what sold me on this product
    • I bought a better coffee machine at Bed, Bath and Beyond with 20% off
    • Two things would make this a perfect machine for our family: 1) a thermal carafe, and 2) a 12 cup coffee maker rather than 10 cups
    • This machine is definitely worth the money.
    • Bottom Line: If you are okay with weak coffee, then this machine will suffice
    • That machine did have its problems (my soldering skills got better over the years replacing the thermal fuses that kept overheating
    • I love this machine!
    • The coffee is great and the machine is easy to use.
    • This is a great low maintenance machine
    • It's a nice looking machine not too bulky or big for your counter top
    • Love this machine
    • Terrible coffee machine for the price
    • I have no idea if this machine is good or not.
    • people think I'm crazy but to me all the Keurig machines taste like boiled water and this way I can have the beans that I love I hear the grinder go off
    • Save your money or spend it on a better quality machine.
    • Machine failed to brew coffee after 6 months of use now in the trash can
    • Obviously the machine is defective
    • This machine is easy to use and maintain
    • Otherwise, this machine keeps grinding and brewing without any issues
    • This machine needs a little tweeking....everything works really well except it does not grind as fine as other machines I have used (Kenmore)
    • First off, this is a well made machine
    • So glad to off the pods , get up to a hot pot of fresh ground coffee, great machine
    • Having used grind and brew machines since the mid-90's, this machine is far, far superior to the old Cuisinart and Black Decker machines in terms of daily clean up
    • It has been the best machine we have ever had and if it breaks we already made a decision to buy another one
    • If you use coffee thats pre-ground, the machine is no better than a modern Mr. Coffee at a fraction of the price.
    • Other than that it’s a good machine
    • This machine is trash out of the box
    • This is the best coffee machine I have ever owned
    • I’m happy to finally have a grind and brew machine that works right
    • I love this machine.
    • In conclusion, a decent cup of coffee, but my next machine probably won't be a grind and brew model
    • The grinder, on the other hand, purred like a well-honed machine--it would have made great ground coffee that could never have been brewed
    • Now the machine is leaking!!!
    • The new machine is also harder to clean
    • Today the machine won't even start grinding the beans or heart the water
    • This machine has wasted the beans by making water downed coffee
    • Bought the first machine thinking maybe faulty machine ordered another one only for the same thing to happen again within 4 uses of the machine
    • The Krups Grind and Brew coffeemaker with a burr grinder is excellent, and the only machine with a built in grinder that grinds the beans fine enough and makes coffee strong enough for my taste.
    • It is so nice not to have to break the machine apart to clean every day
    • I would have rated this coffee maker 5 stars because it is a wonderful machine; however, we have been using it for approximately three weeks and so far the coffee grinder has not functioned on three occasions which is extremely frustrating
    • and it is still working perfectly with no problems it has proven to be a good solid machine for a household with 3 heavy coffee drinkers with up to 3 pots a day being brewed.
    • The machine itself is good to very good but not exceptional
    • I love the machine, the taste of the coffee is perfect for me, I never want more a other coffee machine.
    • I can tell you after over two years of continuous daily use that this machine is still going strong without any issues
    • A great burr grinder and a good drip coffee machine
    • The swing out unit that holds the filter basket has a couple of rather large design flaws that have not plagued the other grind and brew type machines I've owned.
    • Our diagnosis of the problem is this: the machine vibrates quite a lot during grinding and we suspect that the vibration might be causing the carafe, which slides very easily around on the hot plate, to shift off the central position it must be in in order to keep the basket open and draining into the carafe
    • For such a pricey machine, you’d think it would work for longer than a day.
    • This machine has broken twice since we purchased it in August
    • Machine was working fine.
    • This machine won’t grind your coffee, whatever you do
    • Overall I like the machine
    • The machine truly trusts the user to know if the machine is ready to make coffee
    • To make up for this, the machine automatically dumps TONS of coffee into the brew basket which doesnt lead to better coffee or strong coffee
    • I REALLY wanted to like this machine
    • I would recommend this machine, but suggest you actually follow the maintenance and clean the grinder
    • Update 7/23/20:Machine will stop grinding when opening for coffe grinds gets dirty.
    • I had hopes that Krups had learned something from these failures but this machine is the worst of the lot.
    • I cleaned the machine, vacuumed both the excess grounds as well as the bean holder, and descaled
    • Machine works great for grinding and brewing, but replacing twice in two years is not good!
    • Any mechanical grinding action is going to be loud unless it's encapsulated deeper into the machine or has additional barriers to reduce the sound transmission (I would assume more expensive machines may do that better, but not necessarily a primary consideration when designing a coffee maker
    • This machine is easy to clean, unlike my old grind and brew machines
    • The machine makes delicious coffee every time, whether you grind whole beans or use the basket filter for ground coffee
    • The machine would not brew or grind a second pot without knocking on the machine
    • There are plenty of comments like mine where the machine is great in theory, but in reality it is poorly made and does not function
    • I love this coffee machine.
    • The machine isn't extremely loud, but in my small apartment i was able to hear it while sleeping
    • If it turned into a beer brewer on the weekends it would be the perfect machine!
    • The machine is not smart enough to select the amount of beans to make a good cup of coffee.
    • This Krups coffeemaker makes excellent coffee and is better than any of the grind and brew machines I’ve used in the past
    • The machine in overall is good and robust
    • Overall this coffee maker is exactly what you would want from a Grind & Brew machine
    • If you do however want to spend $300 or more, then you should get a better machine.
    • My only complaint like others have stated is that the machine in the grind phase is LOUD
    • Otherwise love this machine.
    • The machine worked well the first couple of months of use
    • Nice looking machine
    • I love the coffee machine but it stoped working just today after one year of use.
    • The machine looks beautiful and works like a dream.
    • I can honestly say the Cuisinart is a superior machine and will remain my main coffee maker.
    • The grinder function did not work as we thought it should.
    • The old filters don't fit flush into the recess for amoeba shaped pod of charcoal ... guess we'll see if it floats up out of its well as it gets used.... also, I thought I saw a drain hole in the top of the handle, but mistook the depression at the top of the handle and it holds water when you use the dishwasher to clean the carafe (even though the directions say to hand wash - who does that?
    • Every morning we can have coffee at home that almost as good as if we bought it at a coffee shop
    • My only objection is that when I set the coffee strength to strong, it isn't as strong as I like.
