KRUPS Grind and Brew Auto-Start Maker with Builtin Burr Coffee Grinder, 10-Cups, Black

    • The fine ground setting isn’t extremely fine
    • I've managed to get a decent cup of coffee out of grinding enough beans for 4 cups, but only pouring in about 2 cups of water and using the "Strong" setting
    • But I always prefer a finer grind, so I choose the finest setting and it grinds my beans fine enough
    • I use the Medium setting because I prefer a balanced flavor, and I program the coffee maker the night before to get fresh coffee in the morning : great way to start my day
    • So I thought, if am using the “strong” setting, using dark roasted coffee beans, what can I do to brew a cup of strong coffee
    • Lastly, I found that it's helpful to opt for the "strong" setting over the medium default
    • The 'strong' setting makes weak coffee regardless of the bean that you use or the grind setting that you choose
    • I still use this machine, but the grinder is mothballed due to the design, which is a shame, as it’s a good grinder!Would have also liked to be able to keep the warming setting on for longer
    • Set to 4 - 6 - 8 - 10 cups of coffee in the strong setting.
    • I have to manually monitor the grind time and stop it at 20 seconds for a full pot at finest grind setting.
    • It also allows me to pick the strength, so I put it on the strong setting since I love strong coffee.
    • In order to brew coffee that is moderately strong, I have to first set the grinder to the most fine setting and ensure the coffee strength is set to Strong
    • I found that on the smaller pot setting the coffee taste wasn't as great, but by experimenting with amount of water, coffee strength setting, and fineness setting I figured it out
    • But I always prefer a finer grind, so I choose the finest setting and it grinds my beans fine enough
    • I've tried several beans now, have the grind size set to the finest setting and strength setting set to strong with no luck
    • I feel that the grinder settings are off, the mild setting is still too strong for
    • However, even on the finest setting, it is a very course grind.
    • I read all the instructions I wanted to grind my beans into strong coffee I chose fine grind and the strong setting for 10 cups four
    • My only complaint is that the finest grind setting is not quite fine enough
    • One other criticism...its “Strong” coffee setting was never strong
    • Coffee tasted great the first (maybe 4) uses, now even when set on the strongest setting it brews like tea.
    • Is someone‘s has same problem as mine
