We also have the Ultra (which my younger child uses) and it is a much more reliable product.

While it's a great product as far as child friendliness and educational games (and parental controls) we have had nothing but technical issues with our Leappads.

Overall the battery life is great and I highly recommend this product for all parents who are looking for a tablet their little ones can use.

The earlier versions were reliable and as advertised however we never had to return due to faulty products
