Many have complained about the lack of story, but, in light of the game's extremely innovative quest system, I can forgive this flaw

Even though it doesn't really have ONE HUGE plot, there are lots of little side quests that ultimately lead you to what you have to do.

From there you can chose where in the world you wish to begin you beloved quests

The dynamic questing system is confusing and difficult to understand, and I'd totally lost the plot by the time I was an hour or two into the game.

If you love side quests this is the game for you.
