Like digital badness I had heard back in the early days of digital gear when things didn't go well.

The only thing I dislike is the difficulties I've had with Cakewalk Sonar to record audio, rest with the other programs works perfect

But the company clearly continues to support this thing year after year

No preamp but not such a bad thing.

This is a good thing actually, there are alot of pro options in the software that can create a pristine recording, if you know what you are doing.
