    Lexicon 1.60 x 6.50 x 6.75 inches (Alpha)

    • If you have a home studio this is an affordable way to go
    • This noise was making its way to my recordings too :-(For what ended up being less than twice the price of the Behringer I decided to try this unit
    • For $100 or so this is a great way to start recording.
    • Like the title says, this is great for those starting out, just messing around with Garageband or Cubase, or an amateur just wanting a cheap, convenient way to record
    • If you want simple, balanced or unbalanced audio output with front facing inputs, an easy way to have a front-facing headphone jack without having to climb behind your computer, and the ability to do instrument input, this is a good way to go.
    • The Lexicon Alpha has no problems at all putting out a robust signal that way
    • Either way, these problems have been extremely minor and should not deter you from considering this product
    • This has been absolutely perfect for the use it was purchased for: an easy way of connecting intruments (in this case several mics and a keyboard) to a laptop's USB for recording into a DAW
    • If you a cheap way to plug up monitors using TRS to your computer, this is the cheapest option I found.
    • The Behringer performs very well for my use (guitar in a home studio), but recently it's become way too sensitive to interference; I was getting noise from the nearby cable modem / router / network drives
    • This is not for beginners found out the hard way
    • when things don't work the 1st time not sure what else to say at this time unless some magic comes my way to show me something the instructions didn't
    • As a music teacher I bought this to educate myself on the possibility of recommending the Lexicon Alpha to my students as a great way to start learning the recording process without breaking an arm and a leg
    • Either way, these problems have been extremely minor and should not deter you from considering this product
    • Like the title says, this is great for those starting out, just messing around with Garageband or Cubase, or an amateur just wanting a cheap, convenient way to record
    • It's a great simple way to hook up my KRK rokits to my laptop with balanced cables, and a microphone if I ever feel like using it
    • For a hobbyist like me, it's a great inexpensive way to get pretty good sounding guitar input in my projects
    • OK, as far as basics go, the thing works as you'd expect any product in its class.
