My biggest gripe with this monitor is the relatively slow response time of 5ms, which is ok but not great and is fairly standard for IPS displays

My son has commented on the fantastic response time

First thing to note is that some of the nomenclature in the advertising might lead someone to believe that this monitor has a fast response time natively but it does not

Very fast response time just as advertised

However if you want to play with Gsync you are stuck with an awful 5ms response time

It has amazing viewing angles, HDR support, easy to use controls fast response time especially for an IPS display

There always seem to be some give and take with monitors, and in this case the slower response time is probably my biggest complaint

Replaced a very fast response TN panel display but the TN panel colors were not as good as with an IPS panel (and I do photography work too)

Response is great at medium "fast" setting (normal/fast/faster), unlike ghosted images in cheaper, but still 144Hz monitors.

At first the higher refresh rate felt amazing on the Xbox super fast response very high refresh

Response is great at medium "fast" setting (normal/fast/faster), unlike ghosted images in cheaper, but still 144Hz monitors.

There are 3 response times as well as "off" in the LG menu

One thing I would say is do not turn on the fastest response time as you'll definitely experience the chroma affect all screens do at 1ms.
