This product has a beautiful image and silky smooth refresh rate
-
This is the best of both worlds, I get great refresh rates during games and gameplay is smooth and tearless.
-
Worthy upgrade, great colour, refresh, size and resolution
-
Great brightness, fast refresh, DisplayPort and HDMI included in box
-
The 144hz refresh is only achievable by using the display port
-
Awesome monitor, great refresh rate, good color and supports hdr.
-
While I feel IPS panels do still have stronger color especially the high cost pro panels, this is a far better color option than TN panels and allows for the high refresh rate as well, so personally it is a happy compromise in my opinion
-
I also have an Asus Pro-Art display for work which doesn't have the great refresh rate, but man the colors are even more vibrant and crystal clear
-
Motion handling is great adaptive refresh rate works well, color are spot on
-
Great refresh and picture but arrived with stuck pixels so sending it back
-
pro - good IPS panel with quick pixel response time, comes with pretty much all the functions you would expect from a modern gaming monitor (high 144hz refresh rate, freesync/gsync, dark frame insertion, non-PWM panel, 1440P resolution, 27inches, advertised HDR support)basically the same exact monitor as 27GL850, just without the USB plugs -- so no way to update the firmware, but it does use the exact same firmware as 27GL850.con = the fastest overdrive setting will exhibit huge amount of overshoot, so stick with "fast" (2nd fastest setting).
-
Amazing, 1ms refresh, 144hz at 1440p, super fast refresh rate, no artifacting.
-
Technology has gone this far were we can have a great panel like a IPS with amazing refresh rates
-
PROS:+ Excellent refresh
-
Variable refresh works great out of the box (on Windows 10, at least — intending to test with Arch Linux soon, and might update this review). Some other reviews have mentioned the recessed VESA mounting point being a problem
-
144hz is a game changer and there's really not point of having 60+ FPS without a monitor that has a good refresh rate
-
I have always been one to buy IPS only and sacrifice having 100, 120, or faster refresh rates for gaming for the sake of color and image quality
-
Make sure you run this in Fast refresh and not fastest
-
After 7 years I thought it's time to upgrade my old IPS screen to get a better refresh rate
-
It runs at a cool 144Hz refresh rate on both G-sync and Freesync
-
I use this as my main gaming monitor and it has a crispy 1440p picture with a fast refresh rate
-
You might prefer the Nano IPS if you watch a lot of high quality movies, but for everyone else, the 83A-B model is an affordable IPS monitor with a great refresh rate and
-
I use it for both gaming (Xbox One S) and work
