Overall, I am very happy with this monitor as a no-frills beautifully clear display for programming and occasional gaming.

-Great display-not very heavy-easy to access power and input plugs on back-easy settingsi don't like that you can't adjust the angle or height of the monitor unless you buy a vesa mount of some kind

The second display was very dim even on 100% brightness.

At least the display doesn't wobble while I type

Complements retina display very well, and is a great minitor for windows laptops too.

But if you're just using this for routine home or office use, and your computer is capable of driving the extra pixels, it sure is a beautiful display.

Not a huge problem since it goes away with other colors being displayed

Super sharp display

I didn't realize that on a Mac (probably PC too), though the sharpest image would be 1920 x 1080, I could run it at any resolution in between that and the native 4K resolution just like I can with my MacBook's retina display

x 2160.I also use the display with Windows 10 in Boot Camp to play games, and it works well there, too

Let me say, I love high quality displays

Note: do not use a game mode that is available in this LG monitor, if you want proper display resolution with a Macbook Pro

Good entry level 4k display, bright display, somewhat accurate color reproduction, good price point.

Was really excited for this monitor but unfortunately it has significant backlight bleed (see attached pictures), and a very noticeable dead black pixel (s)

At 1440p differences are barely perceptible, and at 1800p it looks almost as good as 4K but renders 31% fewer pixels, making it a good compromise of performance and eye-candy
