This thing is great
-
For me, the best thing about that panel was the large view angles and better color reproduction than all of the TN-panel monitors that were available at the time.
-
I bought it for PC Gaming, one important thing to note
-
It is convenient to switch between 3 devices, so that's a good thing
-
I put on my little green dot in the center and it helps me kill things just that much easier
-
It doesn't absolutely wreck things for me, but I do notice it if the scene is dark enough
-
This is perhaps the best thing I've ever done for my gaming setup.
-
Overall, great response time, low input lag, great colors/contrast, and excellent software/firmware controlling this thing.
-
The strange thing is that mostly only appeared when the screen was green

The curve isn't too bad and it's just a perfect thing!
-
but I have had nothing but great things to say about my LG :)
-
This thing is beautiful for any gaming you may do, and the extra desktop real estate helps productivity
-
and I feel like I wasted many years doing the wrong thing
-
so I don't use it as a gaming monitor (and cannot comment on refresh rates or other things that gamers care about, sorry!).
-
Just know what you're buying and realize this monitor does one thing very well, don't expect more than that and you'll be happy.
-
For a monitor this size, 2560x1080 isn't exactly pixel dense, so certain things (again outside of games) may look pixelated or lack sharpness
-
This thing is awesome with gaming, they always said once you go ultrawide you never go back and I can believe it now
-
There's also some ghosting while doing things like browsing
-
its great I wish it didn't have
-
Lean n' clean.
