The display port is the only connection that will support higher frame rates
-
so I could easily get the best frame rate possible, and I never had Gsync
-
and I was loving the beatiful picture and high refresh rate
-
G-Sync and fast refresh rates!
-
I'd love to give this a better rating, but I spent a lot of money on this to be so 'meh' out of box
-
The only benefit to G-sync is not having to fiddle around with the vertical synch setting in every game you play, since g-synch automatically detects and selects the correct refresh rate
-
The color is great, though not much different from my old monitor (which was admittedly pretty high quality for its time), the ultra-wide aspect really opens up the viewing range (especially in shooters), and the refresh rate + g-sync make things noticeably smoother than before
-
Excellent viewing angles, buttery smooth refresh rate, love everything about it
-
Obviously this is a bigger distraction than the other problem, but it's over much more quickly, so I'm willing to overlook this as well as long as it doesn't get worse
