I wanted something that would work together seamlessly with, that would produce great picture quality, and would be user friendly.

Now using my phone Netflix to connect direct via HDMI in lieu of this junker, way faster, same quality picture.

but with the limited titles available in 3d the player ad limited useit claims it can upconvert a standard Blu ray into 3d which although it seems that it does the quality is marginal and i would say that i would rather watch the movie in a regular blu ray player rather than in 3d maybe as the movies get better i will start using this again

Nice very reasonably priced unit, simple to hook into the system and run, very nice quality picture from the Blu Ray movies.

Hope LG does better Quality checks in future.

I thought it would be, thought it would play all regions as advertised, but this one is region 1 only so can't play my British dvd's on it, have a collection of almost 2,000 PAL standard dvd's that I brought with me when I moved from UK to USA, but the quality of this player is excellent, especially 3D and watching it on my 47" LG LM4600 is a really good combination of picture and sound quality as well as 3D.

I gave this unit 4 stars mainly due to the outstanding streaming qualities

I have it hooked up via HDMI to a 32 inch LG LED, and the sound and video quality are superb.

I set up the wifi section, updated the requested software, firmware, etc. and watched hours of Netflix without interruption with very good picture quality

LG is the best, good price, brand for great quality players, plays netflix, hulu plus, youtube, pandora, etc etc etc

I would certainly recommend this product to a friend, as the price is reasonable and the overall quality of the product is great.

I was blown away by the video quality (blacks are rich & deep) and literally as well as from the DD sound coming from my home theater system's speakers with a, yes, passive subwoofer which reproduced the soundtrack's many explosions & crashes with room-shaking ability so powerful that our two cats kept jumping off the couch
