    LG Electronics 27MU88-W 27-Inch Screen LED-lit Monitor

    • Update: connected to old Mac mini via HDMI and it works fine, but still no display from USB-C connection to MBPUpdate 03/01/2017
    • Otherwise I'm fairly happy with the monitor - the display is good, colors bright
    • An excellent display, with good picture quality, brightness, black levels, and responsiveness.
    • Amazing display
    • This is a marked improvement over the older Dell 4K display I replaced with it
    • Installing the drivers that came with the LG monitor itself corrected the flicker and resulted in the beautiful display that I love
    • The hope of a useful displaying of two sources fell short and is disappointing
    • Everything just works as advertised, including:* Beautiful 4k display
    • The 5K display has better image quality due to its higher resolution, but I like this display because:* It's subjectively more attractive
    • Here comes my rant:- Super bright, blinking white LED sleep indicator light - the display is NOT suitable for bedrooms or dark environments
    • But the display is excellent when used at its native resolution
    • Otherwise a good display with sharp text and bright colors
    • Absolutely stunning display
    • It is one of the most comfortable displays I have ever used
    • Monitor connected correctly when initially connected, and was a great display
    • So you are getting great display, sleek design, and highly energy efficient
    • When I don't move the display looked great, but moving gives me a headache.
    • The aesthetics aren't as nice as my old display, but even the monitors that Apple sells now are made by LG and aren't even as nice as this one.
    • As if designed for maximum distraction, the automatic standby screen is some black text over a jolting light-gray background (it should be a dark background like most other displays on standby).Waking the display is cripplingly slow; it always takes 5 to 10 seconds to display anything (including the display's own UI for switching inputs, etc.).I use the display for both a Macbook (USB-C) and a PC (DisplayPort)
    • The display is scratch free and does not have any stuck or dead pixels
    • This is a great display!
    • I don't agree with the other reviews saying this display isn't ideal for a MacBook Pro
    • I'm tempted to give this a lower rating just to draw attention to what I believe is a design flaw that - while not affecting a LOT of people, it's just dumbfounding as to how LG can design such a BEAUTIFUL monitor and screw up something that has been a problem for years
