Overall, if you already have a Smart TV or other means to stream content (Fire Stick, Roku, Apple TV, etc.) then this is the player is hard to beat for the price.

The LG OLED tv is great, but the DVD

And it pairs well with our old LG TV

Also, is not recognized by our LG Smart TV.

I was very happy to find a "dumb" Blu-ray player since I already have a Smart TV and a Roku player

Also, my TV keeps loosing the signal from the DVD player, maybe the same thing as I already described.

If I had it to do all over, I would have sent this back and just bought a smart TV to begin with, but I was determined to make this work!!

Having had really great experiences with my LG Blu-Ray player and also two LG Smart TV

I might add that this player was not compatible with my old (very old) led TV, and I ended up having to buy a new TV as well.

Both of those Blu-Ray players, as well as this one, for context, have been and are being used with LG Smart TV's.

I expected to keep the Samsung player for use with our Samsung LED TV, because they communicate automatically for such tasks as starting the TV when we insert a DVD, but I was wrong
