as good as any other dvd/rom

This LG external DVD is not flimsy.

When I attempted to burn a DVD, however, I found that the Verbatim recordable DVD disks I had also purchased will not work in this DVD burner.

Ive had horrible luck finding an external cd/dvd drive that actually works (most were LGs lol) this worls perfect, is quick, no complaints

Anyways, this is THE BEST dvd burner I have ever seen

There are plenty of rather flimsy DVD writer out there whose purpose is to go with laptops, so they need to be light and portable.

Reads, writes, plays DVD's, burns DVD's...everything a good gaming system needs.

Dvd wise it would not allow me to rip and burn the disk all together

I purchased this hoping it would be a higher grade disc drive, and it did in fact read a critically important DVD-R that numerous other internal and external drives failed to read.

This is a solid, and fast DVD writer and player
