First, the drive tray is flimsy, and makes a very unclean noise when opening/closing

The Player as a whole is really good, but it does make a humming noise which doesn't happen on the more expensive units, but it wont effect watching the movie in anyway, Its just annoying when there is no move playing

Ours makes some weird noises sometimes when playing the dvd's but for what I paid its ok

When it finally plays, the physical mechanism (that spins the disc) emits a noise so keen and piercing that I can feel pressure on my ear drums
