All my apps from Google Play worked much better compared to my zte valet which lagged so much and constantly crashed

Although it's a little dated, it is still compatible with many apps, unlike the Lollipop version which has some app compatibility issues with popular apps like Clash Of Clans

As with any Android phone, my gripe is the amount of worthless Google apps that overtake these phones -- and there is absolutely NO getting away from them

The Ultimate 2 uses android 4.4 kitkat, so most apps from the Google Play store are compatible with it

I recommend downloading a launcher app to customize your home screen and icons (e.g., Themer, Apex Launcher)
