The phone I received is NOT wifi capable

Data can be used to(send or receive a picture) to go on line when you are not using your (free) WiFi

So if you go to Starbucks or a coffee shop or a hospital or library (ect.) that has free wifi, you have to register with them by providing personal information before the free wifi connection can be used

This phone is cheap, easy and tough...if you use home WiFi or Free WiFi when available.

Regardless, having a WiFi connection available is key to accessing the Internet without using any of the available data

wifi is great very easy to use.

The WiFi makes it easy for me to manage email and browse the web without eating up my minutes or data.

so I'll save up my mobile data for the rare instances when I don't have WiFi available.

Then a homeless man using his laptop downtown in our city showed me how to connect to free Wifi from city hall, restaurants

I had 300 mb of data time that was used very rapidly (15 minutes) by surfing on google images because I did not configure the phone to connect to the "free" wifi that was available in a hospital

There is free wifi everywhere, so about the only time I use data, is when I am using google maps with traffic info turned on

All the bells and whistles work, and I am able to connect via 3G when wifi is not available.

In order to use free wifi and not use the purchased airtime, I must first configure the android phone to connect to the free wifi connection or else my purchased data time will be used instead
