There are redundant controls for speed and lift on the side rails as well

I have had to put some foam in between where the hood and the side rail meet on the left side of the treadmill because of rather annoying creaking with every step without the foam.

The duplicate buttons on the side rails are great

And we found that we preferred the speed/incline buttons on the side rails, as opposed to on the front railing on the 2000 and 3000e

I explained the issue, and without hesitation, the rep told me he would be sending a tech out to my house, as well as send a new motor and belt to my house free of charge.

I abuse the heck out of this machine and it still runs as good as when I got it.
