The presets suck and the amplifier sounds like ass

I went through all of the preset tones on the guitar, many are very good, some don't seem all that useful, and some seem rather duplicative (many clean presets for example).

The presets are very useful.

To their credit they've delivered some fairly decent presets that will get someone up and running quickly.

I noticed that the clean preset sounds sounded pretty good without much of the plastic artificial quality

The effects are a bit digital and the presets are quite loud by default

Which is ok - we’re all way too picky for Line 6 to pre-package good presets for everyone

The preset sounds are mostly OK, some are pretty good, especially the cleaner presets.

In the middle you get a lot of weird synth and loop effects while the latter half of the presets emulate popular artists with names that hint at the bands they try to emulate.

Many people have said the presets aren't the greatest but with the ridiculous amount of control you have over every aspect of the sound you can dial in just about any sound you want

The preset knob is also used to navigate menus in edit mode and has a push function that works like an enter/ok button when editing presets on the amp.

The 4 presets are not very good, and while you can make adjustments, I've yet to find any really good sounds.

For practicing, this is a good beginner’s amp
