Reviews around practice (5.00 of 5)

  • Great little practice amp with a bunch of effects options
  • ,,,,,, Look it Up ;-)On the bright side, this is a excellent practice amp!!
  • If you are looking for a great practice amp that can give you great tones without having to attach a bunch of pedals, this amp is perfect for that
  • This is a great little practice amp with plenty of power for practicing in the home and performing small gigs.
  • My only complaint is it lacks a little botttom end (bass) but otherwise it's a solid practice amp.

Reviews around feature (5.00 of 5)

  • Despite this I did give it a fairly thorough going over and tested what features are available out of the box
  • A cool feature when editing is that you can loop-play built-in riffs and tweak patches while they play, so you don't have to bounce back and forth to your your guitar
  • This amp is packed with all kinds of great sounds and features
  • but it does have some nice features that would be useful and enjoyable
  • Its no tube sound, but for practice and with the loop function, Its a great deal, Cosmetically it looks great, nice modern updated features fits in the living room nice.

Reviews around model (5.00 of 5)

  • Absolutely amazing sound quality and detailed modeling.
  • So, I went to last empty space and picked my favorite clean sound amp model and added some delay and reverb and got a really beautiful tone
  • The Line 6 Spider Classic 15 modeling amp is an entry level amp
  • I was pretty excited about this classic 15 modeling amp

Reviews around interface (5.00 of 5)

  • Inputs include a ¼ inch instrument jack, an 1/8” 3.5 mm headphone jack while on the rear you have a USB port that works as an interface to your Mac, PC (Line 6 have ASIO drivers for the PC)
  • The result here is that, if you are an Android user, you won't have a nice graphical interface to edit your presets with, you won't be able to download and use other people's presets, and you have no way of backing up your presets.
  • The USB hookup does work as a digital interface complete with low latency ASIO streaming drivers allowing audio to work in both directions
  • This might still be acceptable if there were a PC or Mac based interface available, but there isn't.
  • the amp has a well laid out set of controls and intuitive interface.

Reviews around guitar (4.45 of 5)

  • I love guitars and I love a beautiful guitar tone and most practice amps have crappy tone, so now you're blowing the retirement fund on 9 volt batteries and a board full of a dozen pedals - look, either you've been there yourself or you're reading the wrong review
  • this one does so much that is almost as important as the actual guitar (and really brings even more variety to the table than a closet full of guitars and effects pedals). The amp physically is pretty big.
  • All in all, it's a pretty cool amp, but if you are a real working professional playing big gigs, you probably shouldn't buy any modelling amp and instead buy a conventional guitar amp like a Marshall and real stomp boxes for your effects
  • What mostly caught my eye was the integrated wireless receiver for being cable free guitar playing.
  • This is by far the greatest guitar amp I've ever come across, especially one this cheap

Reviews around price (4.30 of 5)

  • My Son loved it and got it at an unbelievable price.
  • I use an ESP LTD electric guitar, which I find to be a terrific (and reasonably priced) guitar for the casual player
  • This is a really good amp at an extraordinary price, but know what you're getting
  • As of this review this amplifier costs $119.19, which, for what you get is probably a fair price, but could be lower.

Reviews around preset (4.16 of 5)

  • Which is ok - we’re all way too picky for Line 6 to pre-package good presets for everyone
  • The effects are a bit digital and the presets are quite loud by default
  • The 4 presets are not very good, and while you can make adjustments, I've yet to find any really good sounds.
  • I noticed that the clean preset sounds sounded pretty good without much of the plastic artificial quality
  • The preset sounds are mostly OK, some are pretty good, especially the cleaner presets.

Reviews around tone (3.93 of 5)

  • you punch around on the different foot switches, the tones do change like they have noted, but on many of the effects, it gives you something you might not expect.
  • I wish there were more of those in place of some of the weirder/duplicate tones.
  • So, if you really like the amp, change the tones, and if they sound different to you, make a sheet with what you think it sounds more like
  • I love guitars and I love a beautiful guitar tone and most practice amps have crappy tone, so now you're blowing the retirement fund on 9 volt batteries and a board full of a dozen pedals - look, either you've been there yourself or you're reading the wrong review
  • I found some REALLY good ones that made great starting points for some fabulous tones

Reviews around way (3.86 of 5)

  • While I initially enjoyed all the bells and whistles for the price, the enjoyment gave way to frustration pretty quickly with all the issues of the software
  • It works the exact same way which tells me this is just a flaw in the design of the knob.
  • The good news is this amp is a great way for new users just getting into modeling to be able to experience all the capabilities of mixing different amps with different cabinets and mics as well as exploiting a fairly serious range of effects.
  • While I initially enjoyed all the bells and whistles for the price, the enjoyment gave way to frustration pretty quickly with all the issues of the software
  • And this is now a keeper, found great ways to get what I was looking for, and surprised at the dirty amp sound!!

Reviews around thing (3.68 of 5)

  • Digital modeling is a funny thing because some people care how it works.
  • But this thing really shines with the incredible arsenal of effects offered.
  • If you already are serious, you know this thing sounds as lousy as a cheap AM radio

Reviews around lot (3.44 of 5)

  • I guess modeling has probably improved a lot over the years.
  • I liked the insane a lot, since anything you do on the guitar sounds cool.
  • Anyhow, when this amp was announced, I was hoping for what was essentially an updated AX2; versatile, lots of options to play with, and all parameters accessible from the front panel (more on this is a minute).
  • And if they bust it then you really haven't lost a lot of money.
