Despite this I did give it a fairly thorough going over and tested what features are available out of the box
A cool feature when editing is that you can loop-play built-in riffs and tweak patches while they play, so you don't have to bounce back and forth to your your guitar
This amp is packed with all kinds of great sounds and features
but it does have some nice features that would be useful and enjoyable
Its no tube sound, but for practice and with the loop function, Its a great deal, Cosmetically it looks great, nice modern updated features fits in the living room nice.

Inputs include a ¼ inch instrument jack, an 1/8” 3.5 mm headphone jack while on the rear you have a USB port that works as an interface to your Mac, PC (Line 6 have ASIO drivers for the PC)
The result here is that, if you are an Android user, you won't have a nice graphical interface to edit your presets with, you won't be able to download and use other people's presets, and you have no way of backing up your presets.
The USB hookup does work as a digital interface complete with low latency ASIO streaming drivers allowing audio to work in both directions
This might still be acceptable if there were a PC or Mac based interface available, but there isn't.

I love guitars and I love a beautiful guitar tone and most practice amps have crappy tone, so now you're blowing the retirement fund on 9 volt batteries and a board full of a dozen pedals - look, either you've been there yourself or you're reading the wrong review
this one does so much that is almost as important as the actual guitar (and really brings even more variety to the table than a closet full of guitars and effects pedals).The amp physically is pretty big.
All in all, it's a pretty cool amp, but if you are a real working professional playing big gigs, you probably shouldn't buy any modelling amp and instead buy a conventional guitar amp like a Marshall and real stomp boxes for your effects
What mostly caught my eye was the integrated wireless receiver for being cable free guitar playing.
This is by far the greatest guitar amp I've ever come across, especially one this cheap
you punch around on the different foot switches, the tones do change like they have noted, but on many of the effects, it gives you something you might not expect.
I wish there were more of those in place of some of the weirder/duplicate tones.
So, if you really like the amp, change the tones, and if they sound different to you, make a sheet with what you think it sounds more like

I found some REALLY good ones that made great starting points for some fabulous tones
While I initially enjoyed all the bells and whistles for the price, the enjoyment gave way to frustration pretty quickly with all the issues of the software
It works the exact same way which tells me this is just a flaw in the design of the knob.
The good news is this amp is a great way for new users just getting into modeling to be able to experience all the capabilities of mixing different amps with different cabinets and mics as well as exploiting a fairly serious range of effects.

And this is now a keeper, found great ways to get what I was looking for, and surprised at the dirty amp sound!!

I guess modeling has probably improved a lot over the years.
I liked the insane a lot, since anything you do on the guitar sounds cool.
Anyhow, when this amp was announced, I was hoping for what was essentially an updated AX2; versatile, lots of options to play with, and all parameters accessible from the front panel (more on this is a minute).
And if they bust it then you really haven't lost a lot of money.
