Setup and software is easy to use and will not take up a ton of space or resources on your computer.

Initial setup was easy, but after configuring the NAS, it became more difficult.

There's an LED setup that reports on status, where it blinks long blinks for the 10s place, and short blinks for the 1s place, and then you have to look up the code

Setup was easy once you read the short directions, but one thing to note is that the unit sets itself up as RAID0 automatically, then you have to configure it for RAID1 manually

I purchased the 2 TB version and love it, instant setup quiet operation and its perfect with a RAID 1 already enabled.
