I did try to install DDWRT on this router and it significantly hampered speed and throughput which was kind of baffling

The wireless speed and range works great with my xbox, even though it's located across the house from the console

The range is about the same from an E2500 router I had, but the speed is absolutely amazing.

Router works great, excellent maximum ISP speeds (according to your package)

While the extender worked very well, the speeds weren't always the best.
