Linksys Max-Stream EA7500 IEEE 802.11ac Ethernet Wireless Router

    • Had an issue with USB attached hard drive
    • I bought this router on sale to replace an EA6300 Linksys router to use shared hard drive on the USB3 port
    • I have also plugged a 2T Hard Drive into it and setup my own cloud to serve all the devices on the property as well as we are out running arouns
    • Router will not function properly with an external USB hard drive above 4TB
    • Has 2 USB ports that I have 2 external hard drives plugged into so you can access files, data, music, movies, and etc
    • i cant say anything negative plug and play awesome to be able to access all your devices though this router also has a usb for an external hard drive
    • I'm technically adept, but not a power-networking user.>Due to issues with the install and trying to integrate the hard-drive, I called customer service several times
    • I also had difficulty connecting an external hard drive, but thus far have chalked it up to an incompatibility based upon the age of the external drive (it does works flawlessly when connected directly to my laptop, however)
    • The thing I like the most is the USB 3.0 port which I can connect an external hard drive to with movies and it acts as a media server.
    • The router would reboot every 25-28 min and the external hard drives that I attached would get disconnected every 3-7 minutes
    • fast, network hard drives need smb1 protocol in windows 10
    • Bought to replace an old D-Link router that worked just fine but was too slow
    • That I do like as I
    • But not as strong as I tought
    • Fantastic!I have peace of mind now
