Linksys Max-Stream EA7500 IEEE 802.11ac Ethernet Wireless Router

    • Got a nice interface and some cool features, but it can’t handle Gigabit connections
    • Great home router that is very easy too setup and understand with many useful features and
    • Great features that allow for more wifi control even from your phone
    • Unfortunately, it seems that consumer-grade routers from most of the well-known manufacturers have problems with the reliability of this very desirable feature, and my return window expired before I was able to find a make and model with a good track record.
    • The bandwidth prioritization seems like a useful feature.
    • In summary - previous Linksys products had better administration utilities and better security features
    • I love the features on the computer to control everything.
    • Remote management is a convenient feature
    • Very easy to setup and program friendlyLike the smart WiFi feature
    • No issues at all and the smart feature works great on my phone.
    • Easy to set up and has great features.
    • My favorite feature may be the media prioritization feature that allows you to give bandwidth preference to certain devices
    • These are really basic missing features - it's a real head-scratcher that a router this expensive lacks them.
    • Works great and love security features and app
    • In my opinion, the best feature is the optional wifi extender.
    • It comes with so useful features such as parental control and schedule switching off the Radio which are the most useful features for me
    • Very basic, limited features
    • Router has many useful features such as bridging, repeater, AP that many routers do not offer in similar price range.
    • Good security features and more control over who can use or where they are looking.
    • The features listed like parental control simply don’t work
    • A nice feature is the network map which displays all the connected devices and the channel they are on (if all channels have same name/password).
    • The Linksys router management app has lots of great features
    • One of the best features on both units is that they will automatically incorporate software updates, so I do not ever need to check for updates again; similar to the Chromebook's automatic software updates
    • Too bad-I liked the features and ease of access remotely.
    • Some really nice features, which can all be monitored or changed through the app (which also works well).
    • The iphone app is nice as well, and being able to quickly prioritize a device is another nice feature.
    • Being able to access router settings from anywhere is a nice feature, though I haven't had to use it yet.
    • Easy setup and a nice feature to control it from LinkSys web app as well.
    • If these feature are not implemented well, what about the important stuff that I can't see, like making sure the password on the web interface is protected?I had bought the nearly $300 wifi router expecting rich, well implemented features and what I got was half implemented.
    • Overall the features are good
    • What a great feature!
    • Amongst all this options though, my favorite feature is the high priority setting that I can set up for my main devices
    • I also run a Linksys extender and share my connection with my next door neighbors (my nieces) so having the smart networking and seamless networking are nice features
    • Linksys has been aware of this issue for a long time and has chosen to not address it, instead relying on a workaround which disables an important feature
    • We bought this after having trouble with the ASUS RT-AC88U (that one has all the features we want, but it's buggy and unreliable). The bare minimum features that are required are present and work properly
    • The mobile app, again has great features listed but when it crashes, or doesn’t even work over a VPN correctly it’s pretty sad
    • I love the parental control features.
    • My older Netgears disable radio scheduler feature never worked.
    • Great features!!
    • There are some good features you get with
    • I don't understand how a big company that has been around so long, like Linksys, could leave such an important feature like this out.
    • Great router - easy setup, good admin app and features
    • I urge you to do your homework before choosing a router if this feature is important to you.
    • You also of course receive the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi features for network customization and remote administration
    • Has a lot of cool feature like the Alexa integration.
    • Linksys has been aware of this issue for a long time and has chosen to not address it, instead relying on a workaround which disables an important feature
    • The features to give devices IP address reservations seem to work well
    • Lots of nice features.
    • Also compatible with faster internet speeds as our old router was limited as to the speed it could handle.
    • I have also plugged a 2T Hard Drive into it and setup my own cloud to serve all the devices on the property as well as we are out running arouns
    • The Max-Stream AC2200 exceeds my expectations in signal strength with reaching far parts of the building including the third floor (I'm on the first) as well as to the other end of the property and half a block down the street
    • n’t want guest clogging up the 5Ghz band
    • n’t know our internet COULD work so well!
    • I have also plugged a 2T Hard Drive into it and setup my own cloud to serve all the devices on the property as well as we are out running arouns
