The wireless printer was not working without being plugged into the computer but now it works as it should.

If you update or unplug the router, just make sure to reset the modem as well as you will get subpar speeds...in my case I would get 16Mb download if I don't reset

You will have to reset your equipment, computers, wireless printers, ipads, Wii, etc with this, as well as when/if you change your modem
