I finally did a hard reset on this a month or so ago and haven't had any issues after that.

The router itself was very finnicky requiring many hard resets

less than a year old and connectivity is not stable and wifi delivers half of what it should, have done all the resets and check for updates and not improved performance

Once reset to factory setting and new setup, it worked great.

Performing a hard reset of the router returned these things, but it was unclear to me why simply trying to set a new password would cause such huge problems in the functionality of the router

I've updated firmware, changed channels, hard reset, with no luck

I am done with Linksys and not going back... way to many wasted weekends & nights troubleshooting their crappy product(s).
