This router worked for only 6 months, then became intermittent dropping the signal many times per day

My router is at one end of the house in my office, and I needed the Range Extender to get an adequate wifi signal to my Master Bedroom at the other end of my house

It did not produce a signal strong enough to use

I wanted a clear wireless signal at the other end of the house on the 2nd story.

It advertised it would boost your wireless signal and it didn't, it is actually slower than the signal coming from my ATT router, and if you know ATT routers they are slow anyway.

This did not have a clear signal at 25 feet, and lost connection quickly

I had an "N" Linksys which was great, but, when I upgraded to the "N", I found to have a much stronger signal and more speed for my home set-up.

Spent many hours over months and still , half my devices lose signal constantly.

The product is great, is been performing very well with good wi fi signal for my laptop notebook and my visitors electronic devices.

My galaxy s4 phone was giving me error messages saying wireless connection dropped/weak signal.

Signal is usable 200 feet away.

It'll generate a reasonable signal, but the moment you go over its limit, it simply stops dead

Other than that the router has showed itself as quite reliable; good wifi signal, no unnecessary reboots, solid traffic flow.

Great signal strength and speed and never gives me any trouble at all.

I also love the aesthetics, flat with curved edges and no visible antennas to be knocked and disrupt my signal

Easy set up, might get an extender, get 3 bars for range at furthest point in house, would like a stronger signal

Excellent product, it works very well, the signal is very good in all my home

(it can only be placed horizontally).Works for my needs (coulda saved $10 on a cheaper brand/model and got the same performance), but if you want a better signal, get something with dual band specs or maybe one with an external antenna.

However, that being said, this is NOT a dual band router and my microwave turning on would kill the signal to all the devices in the living room (router was in the bedroom) pretty easily thanks to the 2.4Ghz band it was using

The TP-Link TL-WR841N was working like a champ in terms of the hard wired components in my entertainment center, and when I unplugged the Linksys for extended periods, provided a wonderful wireless signal that was faultless weeks at a time.

Constant problems and troubleshooting to no avail, makes no difference what channel/band/settings it will drop the signal, slow to a crawl, require restarts and hard restarts just for basic (spotty) functionality

The Linksys, quite surprisingly, provided a usable signal for another 100 feet beyond the range of the Belkin - easily doubling the range of the tplink and outperforming the Belkin by a wide margin.

Bought this router in Dec '16 to extend my wi fi into a new steel building (think MASSIVE rf shield) so I could use the wi fi feature for my phone because of marginal cell signal in my neck of the woods.

My old Linksys sent a strong enough signal

I switched the router's channel to 8 and I get strong signal strength's in the upstairs part of my house anywhere between 90-100% which is great)

Though the location has not changed I now get a strong signal in the entire 2000 sq ft

My internet download speed is capped at 3.5mbs and each handled that easily when the signal was strong.

Very poor signal, I'm looking for a better one.

Although this router sits in the basement, the wireless signal is decent through most of the house, save for some signal degradation two floors above on the opposite end of the house.

I wanted to add this router to my existing network to provide a stronger signal for a specific area of my house.

Improved link speed compared to wireless G with excellent signal range.

A bit pricy but worth the money due to great signal strength

My surprise was that about 10 meters away from the router I'm already getting a weak signal icon in my devices

Apparently this Linksys has a stronger wireless signal than the cable modem/router or the TP-Link TL-WR841N, so most wireless devices connected to it rather than the cable modem signal, or the TP-Link TL-WR841N.

and I'm getting a much stronger signal at the other end of the house than I did with my old Windstream wi-fi router/modem.

I am done with Linksys and not going back... way to many wasted weekends & nights troubleshooting their crappy product(s).

its no faster than the ''g'' like it says it is.. have been a beliver in the Linksys for a good while now

Linksys was my go to brand because I loved my WRT54G, but ever since cisco took over it just became crap.

No 5G. Slow as heck.

Bought this as a replacement for my WRT54G router that finally died after 10 years of use

We can take advantage of 802.11n and not be limited to the slower 802.11g

I've had a Linksys wireless G router for years that worked great

Works beautifully as of this date.

Not as reliable as I would like

The wireless printer was not working without being plugged into the computer but now it works as it should.

If you update or unplug the router, just make sure to reset the modem as well as you will get subpar speeds...in my case I would get 16Mb download if I don't reset

We were in dire need of a new router and fast as we have two teenagers that need their internet!

Nothing special, doesn't have an incredible range, but works as it is supposed to

....so i go to the website and download the latest as greatest as of Oct 2013 (only 4 months ago - in fact, the same month Mavericks was released) and nope - same error.so basically, i have a router I can't even configure - what a piece of crap!to top this, I found the construction

You will have to reset your equipment, computers, wireless printers, ipads, Wii, etc with this, as well as when/if you change your modem

This unit worked as it should with no glitches
