Linksys N300 Wi-Fi Wireless Router with Linksys Connect Including Parental Controls & Advanced Settings (E1200)

    • This one would constantly loose wifi, or the signal was so low that it was worthless unless you were in the same room - and even then had problems with it
    • The smart wifi app needs work
    • great wifi
    • I could barely get a Wifi signal in the middle of the house...much less the opposite end of the house, so I strung a really long Ethernet cable under the house (was told wall plug WiFi repeaters are inferior) and bought the E1200 as a second WiFi hot spot
    • And I receive a good wifi signal about 80 feet from the router on the outside of my house.
    • Now I have a nice, strong wifi.
    • Now I know that if I lose the wifi, it's the router that needs to be reset.
    • Having issues with mobile WiFi, constantly slow, however on desktop speeds massively improved, and the smart WiFi app is nice to have

    • Not happy with this item the WiFi goes on and off.
    • The management software, Linksys Smart WiFi, still doesn't support IE 11

    • As far I can see it is possible to upgrade it to "Smart Wifi"
    • I was surprised to learn that so many people lost connectivity with this router after a power outage, because it has proven to be a very reliable wifi router for a smaller suburbian home.
    • Being able to remote into my Router from any Internet connected devices using the Linksys Smart WiFi is also very cool….particularly if I am at work 40 miles from home and someone at home reports something is strange or wrong with our network
    • The WiFi stops working very 2 to 3 days and needed to reset the router
    • I disabled the "wifi protected setup", which I guess enables others to connect to your network without knowing the wifi password
    • the wifi is dead for 15 minutes or
    • The smart wifi feature is great, easy to navigate and log into, while leaving the option to log in locally.
    • I have owned well over 20 Linksys WiFi routers, switches, a cable model and APs over those
    • Smart WiFi iPhone app displays different information than Smart WiFi desktop information accessed through router address
    • For the past two days I've not been able to use my laptop and we can't use wifi on our mobiles because the router no longer works!
    • So, the router gets 1 star due to VERY complicated setup in my situation, miserable wifi performance, and unreliability.
    • works great wifi in the big house is better then it was no problems at all will recommend to anyone
    • The wired speed is great, better than using the wired plugs on the modem for a router, but the wifi is defiantly... lacking
    • Between 2 Netgear routers I have nearly 7 acres of GREAT wifi (90+Gbs) everywhere.
    • My daughter says we have the best wifi of all her friends
    • Smart WiFi system is anything but intelligent
    • Since using this router, my Wifi has been even slower
    • I was not impressed with the Smart WiFi.
    • Also, their web pages they refer you to show their old website, not the new Linksys Smart Wifi that you have to deal with, and the choices and settings don't always translate
