Argh!!After returning the first router and buying another one, then trying two different cable modems (Linksys & buying a new Motorola) wouldn't connect, despite 3 sessions (finally found a phone number for my 3rd) of tech support telling me to reset and restart my router/modem countless times
-
I told the second person to give me a phone number as the live chat process appeared that it was going to consume most of my day.
-
and I couldn't look up a phone number.
-
but there was no phone number on the box, only a website, a lot good that would do me considering I did not have
-
I wasted two hours with an incompetent, chat person who finally gave me a phone number to call where I reached someone who was great.
-
Support is also better with Netgear, which has technical support available by phone 24/7, with the phone number appearing right on the outside of the box (I called late at night, and they immediately and successfully helped me through an issue).
-
so I couldn't finish the setup They don't have a phone number in the limited print documentation only a web address which I ignored and just typed in Linksys and got a big flashy Linksys support website with toll free numbers just inviting me to call... which I did.
-
I couldn't find a phone number anywhere which was very frustrating.
-
I finally used Google on my phone to find a phone number and then contacted customer service.

I purchased it new on Amazon, but Apple told me it was actually 4 - 6 years old, NOT an N class & NOT secure
