I spent about $500 on these things getting enough coverage in my home.

Xiaomi Wifi Mini Youth on the lower floor which is a 15$ AP).this setup provides me better coverage and bandwidth than what this dual band Velop Mesh system

For the price, I'd rather just buy a single WIFI router.....it would work better and provide more reliable coverage.

Unfortunately, even after getting these setup, the coverage and performance still wasn't that great.

I got better coverage from a single standalone top end wifi system.

I am now using 3 of the Netgear Orbi Pro and they give me much better coverage than 5 of the Linksys Velops did

Secondly, it appeared a mesh system would solve the periodic issues we had, such as getting consistent WiFi coverage in the home and reducing buffering

The coverage is fantastic

The 3 units allow you to have great coverage in your house and will have a strong signal all the time.

The zones between nodes was unreliable, and the coverage wasn't any better than I had before

Bought the the main/2 satellite SKU and could not get adequate coverage on the satellites to make the system work in a 3 bedroom, 2700

In the end, everything worked as it should and the support folks were helpful.

It doesn’t work as it should, it’s essentially engineering beta level product and not ready for actual usage

I had to spend several hours with tech support on the phone getting it to work as it should.
