Linksys Velop AC1300 Dual-Band Whole Home WiFi Intelligent Mesh System, 2-Pack, Easy Setup, Maximize WiFi Range & Speed for all your devices

    • The 3 units allow you to have great coverage in your house and will have a strong signal all the time.
    • I installed a three piece system and added two more units to get as strong a signal as possible to my master bedroom where I do most of my 4K movie watching via Apple TV.
    • In my 3300 sq ft house I needed 5 of them to give all my devices a good strong signal.
    • The Linksys is compact enough ( l actually love the size) but so far have been really inconsistent and within 15 minutes started losing the signal and then reconnecting
    • Attractive and easy to set up, I was disappointed when my Ring doorbell (about 25 feet away from the main node) complained of poor signal strength
    • But that doesn't work if your wired access location is too far away for a good wireless signal
    • I was having trouble picking up a signal at one end of the house with the router/gateway at the other end
    • I am always looking for a better signal for my 4K broadcast from my man cave where my fiber optic line comes in.
    • I reinstalled my old system and once again we have a strong signal
    • The other serves as a signal amplifier so that when its placed in a distant room the signal remains strong
    • My signal strength was significantly reduced over my previous non-mesh system (Linksys WRT 1900 and a range extender) all over the house, and even with three nodes the signal would not reach our detached garage (which gets a fine signal with the range extender).
    • Our nodes were not achieving the best internet signal and I called customer service and they spent a good amount of time walking through the re-set up of each of our 3 nodes
    • Fortunately it was not as bad as I
    • Didn't work as they say
    • In the end, everything worked as it should and the support folks were helpful.
    • It doesn’t work as it should, it’s essentially engineering beta level product and not ready for actual usage
    • I had to spend several hours with tech support on the phone getting it to work as it should.
