They warned me that this was a known issue with this model and the new unit might have the same issues

Crappy product with known issues..at least customer service is trying to get things done

Linksys was great to deal with, they sent me a newer model because of the known issues with these models.

(I was directed to reset the router to factory settings, to wait for them to update, to wait for an updated firmware), furthermore they advised this was a known issue and rather than rolling back to the previous firmware version they are taking some time to rectify the issue

The only reason for not being a 5 star review is because the parental controls does not work (known issue) and Linksys/Belkin has not fixed it.

There are a plethora of known issue with this router right now, most of which require users to reboot the router at least every other day - if not 2+ in a single day (depending in your network traffic)

I read it off to the lady, she repeats it back to me, incorrectly, at which time I correct her and repeat the correct S/N back to her and at that time the line is disconnected.
