    • The pan was well seasoned so cleaning is easy.
    • you are familiar with cast iron) cooks food evenly, great trusted brand, it came pre-season but won't hurt to do it again before first use
    • Then, get your favorite seasoning oil (I use shortening) and apply a THIN layer of oil onto any part of the pan where the pre-seasoning was removed
    • Personally I recommend smoothing and re-seasoning
    • I bought this used, but it was practically new and the seasoning was still good
    • In CI because the delicate fish will not tolerate the heat retained by the CI (an asset when searing steak) and will fall apart when flipped.(4) Avoid (particularly before your CI becomes super well-seasoned) using the same pan for savory and sweet as the CI does retain flavors; in other words, using the CI to bake a vanilla cake immediately the day after using it to make garlic chicken may make your vanilla a tad too garlicky!(5) Avoid using CI to cook foods that require lengthy periods of simmering, boiling, or steaming as the lengthy simmering, boiling, or steaming will strip your CI of its hard-earned seasoning
    • The pan is made up of cast iron which makes it susecptible to rusting if not seasoned with a coating of oil after thorough cleaning
    • It is well seasoned and heats very evenly
    • Give it a good season in the oven and it will do a better job than any expensive non stick griddle.

    • Easy to clean and re-season after use.
    • I'll leave by saying, just because it comes pre-seasoned and is "advertised" as a non stick pan, you still need to use a grease/fat/spray of some sort until your pan has built up seasoning on it from cooking
    • I love how it comes pre-seasoned and ready to use
    • I brushed off the rust and gave it a good seasoning with vegetable oil
    • I use it daily & has developed a good season.
    • Period!Quality is good, pre seasoned, flat base, works on induction, right size ( 10.5 inch) perfect for our south Indian style dosas , not too heavy, easy to handle with less maintenance
    • Regardless of what people say, unless you're seasoning your pan, there's no need for soap
    • The only downside is the pre-seasoning is not as good as I've seen on the upper end brands like Cusinart.
    • I wiped a little on the hot pan and thought that the seasoning was enough
    • I did put a light coating of oil on it to refresh the seasoning, and that was enough
    • I really like the way cast iron distributes heat so evenly, basically non-stick when seasoned correctly and easy to clean
    • I tried seasoning it multiple times but did not work
    • Regular seasoning is very important.

    • It also cleans well as long as you know NOT to remove the non-stick seasoning by scouring with steel wool or copper pads
    • It's takes a min to cool down as
    • Sits flat, as well as on edge, in the cabinet
    • The heat distribution is pretty good, not the absolute best I've had if I'm honest, but I'm giving it a solid B.It's easy to clean so long as it's seasoned, and it gives food that unmatched flavor
    • We used it to make these delectable jalapeño grilled cheese sandwiches
