Lodge Silicone Hot Handle Holder, 0, Black

    • Make sure to have a strong grip, it doesn't hold the pan level, that is up to you.
    • And has enough grip to not easily slip off
    • It is rated to 450F, but I usually take it off when placing the pan in the oven because the holder is hot (as I mentioned) and the grip on the pan between my oven mitts, this slightly loose handle cover, and the piping hot pan, is not as secure as I would like
    • Kind of snug, but not as secure a grip as I thought it would be, so I don't quite trust it
    • They fit much 10" and 12" pans perfect, provide a cool, comfortable, reliable grip and are easily cleaned and replaced in no time.
    • I cannot seem to find how the 2 different handles vary, but clearly avoid if intend to use with the lodge easy grip cast iron handle as it is way to loose.
    • Doesn't necessarily give you a solid grip but it does do a good job at protecting you from the heat itself
    • Stopped using it, but might be okay for someone with stronger grip.
    • so I have to pay attention and hold grip well
    • They just dont seem to get a good grip
    • Poor fit (way too loose) and poor grip (slippery and spacious)
    • Once product get warm from the pan it looses its grip on the handle
    • It requires a strong grip for the pan to feel secure.
    • Provides a good grip and blocks the heat, which is it's intended purpose, so
    • It’s noticeably larger than the actual cast iron handle and, therefore, the fit is not snug at all and will cause you to lose your grip when pouring the contents of your skillet
    • It is a heat-absorbing help ya with holding the handle of your cast iron for a sturdier grip tool
    • Poor fit (way too loose) and poor grip (slippery and spacious)
    • : Wipe off or run through dish washer, as you preferCons:- Fits my skillet very looselyI really wanted to love this thing, but frankly I thought about returning it due to the poor grip on the skillet.
    • I almost bought a cheaper off-brand silicon grip for my new Lodge skillet, but thankfully I saw some of the reviews first
    • So if your iron pan (like mine) isnt shaped like the grip, the grip still feels "loose" and not tight on the pan
    • This grip is easy to get on and off and much easier to use picking up the pan than a towel or a hot pad
    • Perfect fit, wipes clean, and better grip than a cloth one.
    • I love the thickness of the handle and the ribs on the inside of the handle allows me to have a good grip without it sliding around.
    • Grip is also loose after few uses .
    • Surprising gripped the heavy pan very well and held it's structure when being on.
    • If you don't have a very strong grip, the holder willslip off the handle of the skillet and there goes the " getting hurt ".
    • Love the grip no heat transfer.
    • I am finding holding with an oversized potholder provides me a more secure grip
    • The concept is great, if you have a Lodge pan, mine is not so the holders are to big and make it difficult to get a firm grip on the handle, dangerous, as the skillets are heavy and extremely hot.
    • Love this rubber grip for my cast iron
    • Absolutely does not fit that particular pan which has (as lodge describes it) an easy grip handle.
    • It gives u a better grip on your heavy cast iron and is heat resistant
    • Great grip and heat resistance.
    • It is rated to 450F, but I usually take it off when placing the pan in the oven because the holder is hot (as I mentioned) and the grip on the pan between my oven mitts, this slightly loose handle cover, and the piping hot pan, is not as secure as I would like
    • The sleeve is silicon and just spins around until you get a good grip
    • I like this product, now its not perfect, but for the price its pretty good
