From someone who has been distracted and grabbed the handle of a hot cast iron skillet off the burner, this is a lifesaver as it not only protects hands from the heat, but the bright red color stands out against the black pan, so you can easily see it and know you’re protected.

I am a BIG FAN of lodge cast iron, and I originally bought a blue one a few years back, but it did not survive the open flame very well, so I found this one....the shape is not exactly the same as the older shape, but it sill works great, and fits great, and is affordable enough that if I have to buy a replacement, I can!

Bought one and plan on buying more for gifts they are amazing and work really well on my cast iron pans.. i really recommended this product its amazing

I burned my hand a couple weeks ago on my cast iron skillet, so ordered this handle holder

I went to grab the handle and it was extremely hot and I burned my hand!
