Beyond this, if you connect to the adaptor using a laptop (in my case macbook pro 15 inch) and then close your laptop, it will sort of continuously connect and disconnect regardless of the fact that your laptop is sleeping, each time emitting annoyingly triumphant beeping noises.

its the connection and disconnection of devices is when it goes into loud beeping, omg so irritating, you may be thinking well how often

The most annoying thing is when a device connects/disconnects there's an annoying beeping sound that you cannot turn off or turn down

This device drops the connection randomly, then automatically reconnects and every time it does that it will make three loud annoying beeps

Whenever you pass out of range, loud beeps signal loss of connection — come back into range, more loud beeps.

However, the one fatal flaw that has me looking for another model is the beeping that happens every time it connects or disconnects

and if you leave the thing on and connected to your stereo at night, forget sleeping...expect beep boop beep beep beep, dooo doo dooo conection noises everytime one of your devices randomly kicks on at night, like you phone computer etc...get a text

If it was a little quiet beep, not a big deal, but this is a deal breaker alone.3) Sound Quality....not great.

and I would recommend not going with this one unless you don't care about random connection drops with annoying beeping

Update 11/2/2016The constantly re-connection notification (loud beep) is too loud and disruptive to keep paired with my phone

It constantly searches for a device and emits annoying beeps.

Out of the box first impressions: visually favorable, but on initial setup I immediately found 2 flaws that make this unusable for me.1 - Makes a very loud beep on connection

First off, I have other devices that use Bluetooth… and second, the Logitech adapter will periodically make an annoying beep sound until something else is connected

It does make an annoying three-beep sound when connecting, just FYI.

Obnoxious beeping when it dis/connects to a device, which it seems to do rather randomly, often in the middle of the night.

This device makes a series of VERY LOUD beeps every time a device (like your phone) connects or disconnects.

Irritating notification beep on each connection/disconnection & lots of background static
