IIThe Logitech Homekit integration has some strange features.

Circle Safe has some nice features

but I don't like recharging) , Ring cameras (actually bought 2 spotlight wired cams), netamo (read all the negative reviews and was enough for me to wait even though its features for the value is great), canary (same as the netamo).(premium subscription feature) 24+ hour storage

While that's a great feature it also requires a lot of bandwidth

The cameras seem to go offline for no real reasons and don't always come back on their own-Some features require a pricey monthly or yearly per-camera subscription with no options for multi-camera

I like the window mount feature

However, the Logitech time lapse is a much better feature than Ring, but the rest of the Ring software is much easier to use and customize

Ring- Ring's mobile app is more polished and feature rich

The Day Brief feature is pretty good, not as functional as the old Alert camera's Commander was, however.

and I love the "Daily Brief" feature to review each day from each camera

In addition there was an upgrade to the software that made some of the free features only available for a monthly fee😡

As of Jan 2018, this is one of two Homekit cameras available and is clearly the better of the two, but as many other reviews have described, its features are not great through Homekit.

I really loved these features and am disappointed that the current standard in wifi security cameras is subscription based cloud storage and no local storage options

It was to replace a camera that died that had that capability, but I wont ding it a star as it's otherwise amazing and the features are fantastic!It comes with 24 hours of record space on the cloud, but with a subscription you can extend it to 3 days for $3.99 a month, or 14 days for $9.99 a month (Or $99 a year).

The Nest app lacks these features

At least you don't have to pay $100 for the useless feature

Unless you pay the $99/yr premium fees, useful features such as person detection, long-term video storage are locked

I bought this less than a year ago and it has so many cool features, the day brief, the fast and quick app

Therefore, these features are not very useful at the moment

When the first gen Circle cameras came online in 2015 I upgraded again and was completely smitten with the unbelievably simple setup and robust features that Logitech offered without a monthly subscription fee

it did, but the performance did not improve as much as it should have.in the app, the video sometimes takes a minute to load up, even when i'm inside the house.again, DO NOT GET THIS CAMERA.
