As I've been waiting for a response I've realized that I can't turn off the LED light
It also includes LED lights that can be motion triggered
It works as a camera, but the light indicating whether it is on/off rarely works as intended.
I would not recommend this camera for anyone who has a baby that will be bothered by light (the LED light pretty much can light up her entire crib area) or wants to be able to hear anything in the video other than a loud and constant clicking noise all the time (baby would need to be screaming bloody murder for you to hear them above the clicking noise)
So this camera is pretty much useless at night unless you've got a constant source of bright light (like a security light)

Much better performance and software than the Samsung pan and tilt.
it did, but the performance did not improve as much as it should have.in the app, the video sometimes takes a minute to load up, even when i'm inside the house.again, DO NOT GET THIS CAMERA.
if Logitech can implement better software, I think it will have a winner on it's hands.
However, Logitech needs to invest into better software to be on par with Nest and Ring
The fine grain software to control for arming and disarming the camera is also pushed to it's limits in my use case.

Overall still a better product for a better price then most out there (24 hours free recording storage is amazing).
Logitech gave me a free account and basic storage that only last for few days, then if you want a year unlimited storage is for $99 per year per camera

So it doesn't give you free cloud storage (past the 30 day free trial), but it does give you 24 hours worth with the ability to download recorded content.
I only wish it integrated with their alert system instead of having to purchase two cloud storage accounts but excellent camera regardless.

This is just a really great product and I felt compelled to write a good review for it, because it does everything it claims to do really well.
I think the camera itself is a good product, but Logitech customer service is terrible
They make good cameras, but I noticed on this one that the wiring is thinner and tangles a lot (older models have sturdier wires) so the slow march to cheaper product has begun.
After several months of usage, including five Circle 2 cameras at my house and two I installed at another house, I cannot recommend this product.
I bought one of these cameras for Homekit compatibility (it's pretty much the only game in town so far), but I'm afraid I have to downrate what might otherwise be a good product for a hellish setup issue with Homekit, and what I'd rate as a very poor response to my issue from Logitech

The setup succeeded this time though, and I have been using it successfully with Homekit for the last few weeks
Guess they are getting hit with a lot of traffic now and don't have the right infrastructure setup.
Mounted great to the window, and the setup in the app was smooth
I have a top of the line Netgear Router, 300 MB p/sec internet plan, and TWO top of the line NETGEAR wifi extenders
Just getting it setup was a royal pain as the home kit code is inscribed in the face and you have to get a magnifying glass out to read it, then hand enter it

Not having the ability to black out areas for motion capture, and not having facial recognition (the main feature I wanted when I bought the camera) is a total drag
However, the Logitech time lapse is a much better feature than Ring, but the rest of the Ring software is much easier to use and customize
Super feature - "brief of the day".Overall - inability to add to
and I love the "Daily Brief" feature to review each day from each camera
IIThe Logitech Homekit integration has some strange features.

I hate the fact that the DVR option (past 24 hours) is between $4-$10 a month, per camera
(Edit: 1/19/18)Lowering to 1-sttar and no longer recommended as they cancelled my subscription and managed to still auto-bill me for it two days later

The window mount was also extremely difficult to attach to the camera
First off my night vision does not work, I’ve read tech support and it’s a known issue that it’s got no nighttime support using the window mount
Further, the window mount did not improve the night vision of the camera
During the day, the system lets me know when my oak tree moves in the wind (to be fair, so does my Ring doorbell).All in all, it's an 'ok' system, but still quite a few bugs, and the window mount is very limited in usefulness
Window mount is extremely hard to install, a design fault that make the rubber hard to attached properly.2

I'm not sure what all the firware updates do, but I'm hoping they fix the connection issues
My range is full bar, but both cameras still experience connection issues, randomly going offline, having to reset cameras over and over
Also switched to 2.4ghz, from the reviews i saw some users were having unstable connection issues on 5ghz band
So far no connection issues, the thing just runs reliably
