Logitech Harmony 650 Infrared All in One Remote Control, Universal Remote Logitech, Programmable Remote (Silver)

    • One thing that took some getting used to is that the more components (Smart TV, Sound Bar, Blu-ray player, etc) that you are turning on with the push of one button, the longer you have to aim the remote
    • This one remote has replaced three individual remotes I used for controlling my satellite receiver, maneuvering through my "Smart" TV, and has made using my sound bar an absolute breeze
    • I have it working with a 4K smart TV and Tivo DVR, a Roku Express (IR, not RF), an AV receiver, a DVD player to control my digital music (I like the menu structure on it although Roku's media player has improved its usefulness with long descriptions), and a laptop being used as a 24/7 media server
    • I also love the way it lets you control your smart tv.
    • The Harmony remotes do a decent job of controlling multiple devices in my home, such as Vizio LCD Smart TV, Pioneer A/V Receiver, Toshiba DVD player, JVC CD Jukebox, DirecTV WiFi Extender for TV STB's, and Western Digital TV Live Hub
    • Also, the customization on timing (easy to alter if need be) has made the process of watching smart TV apps very easy.
    • Programming two smart TV's, two satellite receiver boxes, two DVD players, one A/V receiver and one power control for a sound bar went smoothly on my MacBook Pro with The latest OSX software and was pleasantly surprised to find that most of the functions of the original remotes were onboard
    • It's not a problem until you realize it's morning, and the TV was much louder than the previous night you were watching TV
    • Smart TV, cable box/DVR, and a Blu-Ray player.
    • Got sick of having to switch between remotes for my receiver, TV, and Converter Box (cord-cutter here
    • It constantly had to re-establish whether the TV is even on or off before it will work by hitting a button and leaving it pointing towards the TV
    • After some simple, step-by-step configure, it really works! The remoter even supports my cheap Chinese TV box in its database! But my old Pioneer TV must go through a teach progress using the original remote
    • Found all my disparate devices and the macro programming works great with my smart TVs
    • This causes my TV to always switch to input zero (Satellite) because it ignores the second digit.
    • Works well with an LG model 50LB6300-US smart tv and an Evolution Digital Cable Box
    • a smart TV and the remote for it is basically destroyed and didn't see many other options.
    • Runs my DirecTV w/DVR functions, 60" LG Smart TV, sound bar, 4k-Blu-ray, literally everything
    • Smart TV (all apps), HDMI Switcher, XBOX (power on and off, select within screens), Blu-Rays, Amazon Fire TV (on-off, select), Apple TV, SONOS volume for Playbar-subwoofer-stereo play 3), Samsung sound bar
    • Direct TV - slow performance (set the sat box to IR) and after tinkering with the repeats and delay (wizard thingy again
    • Perfect replacement for the tiny, awkward Apple TV remote
    • And dies mimic our original smart tv
    • Sometimes it fixed the problem...other times, it just turns off the TV and messes the sound bar up by doing so so that I have to get up and hit input on the soundbar until it turns back on
    • The best thing is that, when we got it, I was afraid I'd have to go through all the effort of entering all the information about the relatively complex TV-Audio-DVD and, yes, VCR system I've got.
    • Like your TV would be the main remote, and you "overlay" the DVR or satellite functions on the unused "PLAY, REWIND, Pause,
    • Watch tv, watch movie, listen to music, watch smart tv(Netflix and vudu).I also set a few common commands that I use for quick buttons on LED screen
    • I control a smart TV, a DVR cable box, a sound bar and a DVD with this one remote.
    • I only have it controlling a smart tv, cable box, Apple TV and sound bar.
    • I have a Samsung Smart TV a Yamaha receiver and an Arris / Verizon DVR and this remote has issues with all of them
    • Have 3 different tv's throughout the house and works well on all of them.
    • It worked if CEC was disabled on the receiver, but then I had no ARM ability to play back the Smart TV internet programs
    • Works flawlessly on Smart TV, AV reciever, CD player, cable box and DVD player
    • And dies mimic our original smart tv
    • We ended up just using all original remotes again for Smart TV, cable and speakers.

    • I use this for cable TV, DVD/Blue Ray, sound bar, and Smart TV such as Netflix, etc.
    • a smart TV and the remote for it is basically destroyed and didn't see many other options.
    • The programmable modes don't work very well and if you have a Smart TV with Netflix or Hulu, you can't use the back button as a back button
    • Works great with our Samsung Smart TV and Motorola U-VERSE box
    • Controls all the “activities” for my LG Smart TV, Yamaha soundbar, Roku 3 and Xbox One
    • Flawlessly connected my Bose, cable TV and allows me to access my Sony Smart TV
    • Most of the activity commands did not work properly with my DISH/Sharp TV set-up
    • I have a smart TV handles that aspect well too
    • Remote works fine with Pioneer receiver and Sony blu-ray player, however, it only works with my Insignia TV 10% of the time at most
    • Remote works fine with Pioneer receiver and Sony blu-ray player, however, it only works with my Insignia TV 10% of the time at most
    • The remote supports SMART TV apps and allows you to create Activities to access the apps
    • The Apple TV works, but we don't use that as much as TV and Smart TV, so it's little advantage.
    • It’s arduous to program and doesn’t work effectively with most smart TVs
    • Watch tv" "watch a movie" "watch smart tv" never actually turned the correct electronic device on or off
    • Set up online...piece of cake.....get the model numbers first...instructions easy to follow...very...then , just as easy, UHD TV, BLU-RAY PLAYER, DISH RECEIVER,
    • This was suppose to replace my 2016 LG remote that stopped working - making my TV useless for Smart TV features like watching YouTube, etc.
    • It controls my apple tv, samsung tv, the tv's smart apps, my direct tv and its dvr, samsung audio
    • upper right screen button snags case edge when depressed and doesn’t pop back up without digging at it - a touchscreen might be better but likely much more expensive; colored auxiliary buttons cannot be programmed for favorite TV stations nor closed captioning control, the only way is via onscreen drill down of TV options;
    • Did not work with my Samsung Smart TV, unfortunately.
    • The problem I had with it was trying to get it to work with my Samsung UN65H6350 Smart TV and my Onkyo TX-NR747 receiver, both of which have CEC power control capability and the audio return ARC HDMI cable feature
    • The Logitech Harmony 650 Remote fits comfortably in my hand, it is back light so when watching a bright TV scene, you can see the remotes keys to change channels and/or volume.
    • The "Smart TV" option is a "device."
    • The Smart TV function has never worked although it appears to be set up correctly
    • It has a quadrant screen design that makes navigation hard when trying to use it to replace all the features of an LG Smart TV remote.
    • Well it does this, then it will randomly switch to HDMI input or Pandora on my smart TV
    • Using with Samsung smart tv, xfinity cable box, Panasonic theater system/blue rayPros:set up was relatively easy, after downloading software
    • Bought this to help guests work the TV, BD player, x box and receiver easily
    • I have no problems controlling my TV but getting the remote with the soundbar is an act of frustration
    • Smart TV and Soundbar all turn on with a click of a button
    • Used with a Samsung 4K smart TV, an older Pioneer receiver/amp, and a Sony Blu-ray player
    • As is, I'll keep juggling remotes in the other rooms, or when I want to do something sophisticated (TV-wise) in the bedroom.
    • You can program favorite TV channels based on your TV provider and location, program for Roku or Apple TV devices, DVD players, etc
    • My wonderful children are your typical TV loving kids.
    • For example we have it controlling a smart Samsung TV which has Netflix and Amazon video as apps.
    • Well my TV is a 40 inch touch screen monitor so the tech guy put in a Sony TV and it finally worked
    • My home setup is a smart TV, cable box and external sound system.
    • Even supports all the "Smart TV" functions
    • but I not able to do anything with it for my smart TV, I have to use the lG
    • I wish the instructions told me that I had to have a TV in the activities to work
    • I have a Samsung 4k smart TV and that might play a role in it working with the fire tv but in any case I am extremely happy with this remote!
    • For instance, I use the remote for a smart TV, a satellite system, and sound system
    • I have it controlling an LG smart TV, Directv DVR
    • I have my Amazon FireStick controlled through the the HDMI CES input (meaning the TV remote works the FireStick through the TV's IR sensor and transmits the button pushes to the FireStick via the HDMI cable).
    • I was able to sync it to my cheap Toshiba TV and my older Samsung sound bar
    • As for my Smart Samsung TV, it is easier to use the OEM remote in the Smart Hub section
    • Don,t bother with them.
