    • To resolve the connectivity issue, find the MAC ID of the device, go into your router, assign a static IP to that MAC address, then reboot the Harmony Hub (just unplug it for 2 mins).
    • To resolve this phone app connectivity issue, find the MAC ID of the Harmony hub, go into your router, assign a static IP to that MAC address, then reboot the Harmony Hub (just unplug it for 2 mins)
    • I did not have to set a static IP for the MAC address.
    • Then tell your smart phone app what the static IP address is and, viola, it works every time you try and connect
    • You HAVE to set it to a static IP address or you will never be able to connect with your smart phone.
    • Oh, and the device will not allow you to assign a static IP, so you have to use your router to force it to use a static IP.Setup was easy (other than the connectivity issues).
    • Then tell your smart phone app what the static IP address is and, hopefully, the app will connect quickly every time from then on
    • And the fourth has been absolute hell because it won't recognize the correct I outs for a vizio TV.
