Most people might not need it, idk, but my room is always dark, and this doesn't work well

One complaint, I feel like the hue integration could be improved as it doesn't seem to control rooms and is missing all of the lights on my bridge

So I had to operate in the dark room and it sucks as it does not have light to see the keys and also keyboard

so no line of sight needed-Can use your phone to power operate the devices from anywhere in the house (on the wifi network), this is nice if you forget to shut things off or want to warm up the room ahead of time

I darken the room to watch movies, and when I do, I then revert to using my smartphone as a remote rather than the simple remote that comes with the product

That makes it difficult to use in a dark room

No blasters needed, it bounces the signal off the walls/ceiling of our *large* great room, I guess.

With limited buttons available on the smartphone screen, there's not much room to make changes on the Activity screen since it is controlling multiple devices

If you watch tv with some light, you can see the controls; but in a completely dark room it might be difficult to see

Works well within an open cabinet in a 6x6m room without using the extended mini IR blaster

After using it for a few days you can remember by "feel" where the buttons are, but you cannot see the buttons in a dark room, It is by feel only

Secondly, the remote unit is not backlit, so if watching TV in a darkened room, seeing the buttons is a challenge

Attempting to rename these to the proper rooms was like playing Russian

Do not attempt to use in a dark room while watching a movie.
