Another problem is the battery life

The battery life has not been an issue either although i only use that computer maybe twice a week since i use it to render large videos and 3d models overnight for my work

The main downside until now was the poor battery life (a week or two), presumably due to the illuminated keys, but that wasn't a huge deal to me

The Battery life is great.

Great battery life, love the backlit keys, and I like the fact that the sensor will activate the board whenever if senses hand near/touching

However, the battery life is worse by far than any keyboard I've ever owned, presumable due to the backlight.

Either way, the fact that the K800 can be used while charging through the included Micro-USB cable means that battery life will rarely be a major issue

Battery life will decline to annoying levels after about 3 years, so realize you will be replacing that somehow or factor in a new keyboard to your budget.

It worked just as well in the BIOS screens as it did after booting linux, so I can't see anything wrong with it

I also really appreciate the off/on button as it allows me to turn it off at night so if my cat walks across the keyboard, she doesn't wake up the computer and type random characters
