One cool feature is when you are wireless a proximity sensor detects when your hands are close to the keyboard and it turns on the backlit keys
-
The best feature is the fact that it's wireless, so you don't need yet another cord cluttering your desk area
-
I love the wireless feature
-
Great feature that senses your hand presence over the key board and turns on its light
-
The keys are evenly lit across the keyboard (the print screen button seems to have an obstruction of some sort from the light source; it's a little dimmer than the other keys, but that's no big deal) and I really enjoy the hand detection feature which works surprisingly well
-
Feels really nice and the backlit feature is awesome
-
Another great feature is the space between the keys is not lit, taking your focus away from the keys and wasting much-needed battery charge on useless illumination
-
The backlight feature is great as well, and is one of the primary reasons I originally purchased it as I have hated needing to use a keyboard in low-light conditions and not seeing the keys
-
It lasts "forever" on a charge and, for us point-and-peck typers who like to look while we type, the backlit feature is amazing all day long
-
I end up leaving the charging cable plugged in to disable the battery saving feature, which impairs the convenience of owning a wireless keyboard
-
This is a good illuminated keyboard with most useful features
-
The only thing I don't like about it is that when it is plugged in, the feature which activates the back-lighting by waving your hand over the keys is disabled
-
Keyboard is solid and the backlight is a great added feature.
-
That's a really useful feature
-
The illumination function is a nice feature, especially at night and early mornings, and it isn't too bright; almost like a candle light glow
-
and I do like the lighted keys feature.
-
great - installation was easy, loved the back-lit feature - but after about 15 months of light use several keys just stopped working
-
The back lit feature is very convenient if you like to work in a very dimmed environment.
-
loved the features on it but need the keys to stay in place.
-
Although it initially looked somewhat odd in a vertical position, this unique design is a great space-saving feature, especially for those with limited real estate on their desks
-
The USB charging is a nice feature
-
This is a great keyboard with all the features available
-
The keyboard has some features like the calculator button and FN+Shortcut keys that were nice features at first, but seem to have broken at some point, because they are barely useful anymore
-
The Apex 300 has some nice features and software, but I did not find it to be very comfortable (or accurate) for typing due to flat keycaps and spacing, but to be fair that could be a personal preference.
-
Amazing keyboard with great features.
-
I loved this keyboard...super quiet and loved the features
-
after 2 months, the back lighting feature no longer works.
-
The lighting feature is great, but I did notice that sometimes it'll flicker on and off for no reason, even if I'm not near it
-
The best feature on this keyboard, however, is the responsive, springy, and lively action of the full-sized keyboard keys.
-
One silly feature that has come in handy is the on-off switch.
-
Great quality and good features.
-
It has most of the nice hotkey features that other keyboards have, too
-
Also some features are hard to explain: it's got rechargeable batteries, which is weird
-
the illuminating feature ( which is mainly why we bought it ) Has stopped working.....
-
Great keyboard, holds a charge, great lighting features, and easy recharge
-
The backlight works well in all light, and will be a welcome feature for those like me who are older and wear glasses / bifocals
-
The backlight works well in all light, and will be a welcome feature for those like me who are older and wear glasses / bifocals
-
The illuminated feature is great
-
One very handy feature is the illuminated keys, when you want to work in the shade and have a relaxing work session
-
This feature is very annoying as often becomes off kilter because of this feature.
-
It would have been nice to see that feature on this keyboard as well, and theres certainly room in the battery bay for it, but seeing as that isnt terribly common I can't exactly complain about it not being included this time just because they pleasantly surprised my by including it there.
-
So many nice features.
-
Great features as well.
-
Beautiful keyboard with nice features
-
Love the lighted key board feature
-
Keys are easy to push, features are perfect for me
-
Another cool feature that I really like is that the back lighting is hand activated.
-
the light up feature is super cool and very easy to see
-
This keyboard is very high quality and features LED backlighting
-
It lights up which is a good feature, but the keys are a little awkward to use because the key spacing is not great.
-
The 4-tier intensity backlight is a great feature and can be turned off to extend the battery to months at a time.
-
The features of the K800 are very desirable
-
For users with limited USB ports on hand, this is a nifty feature that helps free up port real estate, albeit not quite as effectively as Bluetooth does
-
The backlight is a nice feature, too
-
It's got a neat feature where it detects motion to turn on and you can conserve the battery by turning it off
-
Purchased primarily for the illuminated feature
-
Nice keyboard and I love the lighted feature.
-
Logitech Unifying receiver works very well and the feature that automatically turns on the backlight when your hands get near the keyboard is amazing!
-
Love the backlit feature when you go to press a key even in dim light
-
Might not be a thing for all people, but for me it's a nice feature that I use often
-
The lighted keyboard is also a very nice feature to have, as my keyboard sits on a tray that slides out from under my desk, and it is sometimes a little dark down there.
-
The rechargeable feature has worked well for me so far and I usually get at least a couple weeks to a month before I need to
-
The best feature is when you touch it, it lights up
-
Another great feature is that I already own the wireless Trackpad and the keyboard and trackpadcan use the same receiver
-
But the best features are the lit keyboard, just wave your hand over the keyboard to turn it on, and the wireless USB plug that is barely visible.
-
Very functional, easy to setup and the smart light up feature is impressive
-
I like the feel of the keys and the lighted feature is great.
-
I appreciate its power-saving features
-
The backlighting is a great feature too -- especially as it turns on to the very proximity of your hand rather than an actual keystroke, and therefore allows you to easily find it in the dark.
-
One other very cool feature - the batteries are NiMH not lithium
-
Even in very bright light you can clearly tell the backlight is there on 5.Auto dimming: The auto dimming/off on the backlight is a really neat feature
-
However, for me the best feature is the keys' action - smooth and easy.
-
I really like that feature.
-
this turned out to be a great keyboard in every way but the best feature is the lighted keys you really don't need to have any other light in the room at
-
Seems to require charging every 3 or 4 days, but that it can be recharged is a great feature
-
I just want a simple mouse and keyboard that can do their job with good quality features
-
Love the night light feature
-
Works well - rechargable battery is nice feature
-
The backlit feature is also fantastic, especially at night time when I don't want to turn the lights on
-
No problem, at all, while pressing together the keys Shift+W+SpaceBar (it means run and jump). And for work is perfect, the kb backlight automatic bright feature is perfect, and the proximity sensor behind the palm rest, is perfect too.
-
Love the proximity feature
-
There are enough reviews covering all of the great features of this keyboard, so I don't have to repeat them.
-
I think my favorite feature is the back-lit laser etched in keys.
-
No problem, at all, while pressing together the keys Shift+W+SpaceBar (it means run and jump). And for work is perfect, the kb backlight automatic bright feature is perfect, and the proximity sensor behind the palm rest, is perfect too.
-
Here is the best feature of the keyboard, and it is something that isn't even mentioned in the description
-
The wireless feature is awesome as well and allows me to sync up both my keyboard and mouse onto a single USB receiver
-
The backlit keyboard is an awesome feature.
-
Great features and transmission but very delicate keys and spongy
-
This keyboard has great keystroke action, is very quiet, lights up when your hand moves over the keys to start typing (which turned out to be a great feature that I originally didn't give a second thought to), and is easily charged - even while in use.
-
The wireless feature is convenient, though not terribly powerful (don't stray too far from the USB transmitter without line of site and a good charge).
-
I love this feature.
-
As for the lights, it really is a nice feature.
-
Even in very bright light you can clearly tell the backlight is there on 5.Auto dimming: The auto dimming/off on the backlight is a really neat feature
-
Despite its many nice features, the "wimpy" folding feet are a minute-by-minute frustration
-
The backlighting is a nice feature - but it wouldn't be so important if the keys weren't so hard to read
-
Just out of the box, for the first time, the E and the A weren't working
-
It worked just as well in the BIOS screens as it did after booting linux, so I can't see anything wrong with it
-
I also really appreciate the off/on button as it allows me to turn it off at night so if my cat walks across the keyboard, she doesn't wake up the computer and type random characters
-
that only reactivate you you actually type something and the first thing you type is lost as it is turning the lights back on
-
I've had this thing for over 5 years and it works just as well as when I first got it
-
Oh and ontop of that, the sensor for the backlit keyboard doesnt exactly work as it stays on
-
Built-in sensors detect your hands as they approach the keyboard and, in turn, toggle the backlight on and off; the keyboard lights up when your hands are roughly four inches away, causing it to brighten up as you reach for it
-
Works as
-
good as that makes it ezier than getting used to a revised new fangled change in the new K800
-
Not a big deal, as it's easy to just plug it in.
-
It's fully charged, clean as
-
n’t hate my old keyboard it just broke
-
Just out of the box, for the first time, the E and the A weren't working
