THE NUMERIC KEY PAD DOES NOT WORK
-
I do touch type, but using the numeric key pad, the media keys, or just being tired and a bit lacking in accuracy, I really do appreciate seeing the keys clearly, when I want to.
-
The one thing I don't like is the numerical pad is too far to the right, so the keyboard doesn't sit straight against your Desktop if you want to type.
-
I also did bookkeeping early in my working years using 10 key by touch and for accounting the number pad is superior to using numbers above letter rows.
-
I bought this keyboard and 2 years later the enter key in the number pad totally broke after gentle and infrequent use.

I also did bookkeeping early in my working years using 10 key by touch and for accounting the number pad is superior to using numbers above letter rows.
-
so I was really happy with the 10-key number pad as I do a lot of numeric entries
-
Being on the number pad I ignored the fault and just used the top keyboard row for numerical entry
-
the oversize Enter key on the number pad comes off regularly and will not stay in place
-
worse was the condition, I noticed after a day of use that the minus key on the number pad felt very stiff and not clicky at all like the rest of keys, after fiddling with it I realized that the switch underneath the key is damaged
-
A light for the number pad lock would've been cool as well
-
so my number pad is useless.
-
This was the most design savvy and fully functional (number pad, which is a requirement or me) that I could find and I will never regret this purchase.
-
Thin, great battery life, illuminated, has a number pad...hit all my requirements and couldn't be happier
-
I also wanted a keyboard with the separate number pads on the right which this one has.
-
the [-] key on the number pad fell off, I guess it's no big deal...
-
My cat spilled coffee on my first one and even though it worked fine the 2 (number pad) stopped working.
-
I am retired and learned to type numbers on manual typewriters so the number pad is a convenience rather than a necessity
-
And for those of us who like a full number pad, yep, it's there
-
I would have preferred not to have the number pad on the
-
a number key pad, key action sound and motion is just perfect for me.

-
Then shortly after, the 5 key on the number pad BROKE off, but the actual button is still operational.
-
The only key that would work was the "calculator" quick key above the number pad.

Great feeling keyboard - just wish the number pad was functional with newer versions of Windows.
-
It worked just as well in the BIOS screens as it did after booting linux, so I can't see anything wrong with it
-
I also really appreciate the off/on button as it allows me to turn it off at night so if my cat walks across the keyboard, she doesn't wake up the computer and type random characters
-
that only reactivate you you actually type something and the first thing you type is lost as it is turning the lights back on
-
I've had this thing for over 5 years and it works just as well as when I first got it
-
Oh and ontop of that, the sensor for the backlit keyboard doesnt exactly work as it stays on
-
Built-in sensors detect your hands as they approach the keyboard and, in turn, toggle the backlight on and off; the keyboard lights up when your hands are roughly four inches away, causing it to brighten up as you reach for it
-
Works as
-
good as that makes it ezier than getting used to a revised new fangled change in the new K800
-
Not a big deal, as it's easy to just plug it in.
-
It's fully charged, clean as
-
like it =D worth every
